Spent a bit of time on the beach this morning then went to the Estuary to pet the Stingrays (my second favorite animal!). We then toured Ft Gaines, G went fishing and I took a nap. We extended our trip by a day since he was so sick. We head home tomorrow. :( The weather has been absolutely PERFECT. Low 70s with a cool breeze. I haven't been this relaxed in forever and I've never seen G so relaxed. Such fun...

Oh, my gosh! I'm so excited. We are getting the concrete pad laid for the new garage, and one of the guys took the Bobcat and cleared the brush from our backyard for me during his "down time". Sqeeeeeaaaaalllllll!

Haven't decided yet. DH likes the legs, thighs, and wings as is so those get left whole. I think I'll reserve those for his lunch tomorrow and just do something with the breasts for tonight. He's been wanting a Frito Pie so I figure I'll make a small one for a side and some veggies. Maybe I'll do a citrus herb glaze on the chicken to minimize the saltiness of the Frito Pie. DH loves Frito Pie but I'm done after a few bites because I don't like salt and I don't like Fritos. Fritos taste like a salt lick to me.
The carcass will end up in the crock pot overnight for broth for my Faux Toscana soup tomorrow. Speaking of, I may just dice up the rest of the summer sausage and toss it in the soup. Yummy!

They are talking about cars overturned and trees on structures.

Such a busy day at work. A major project I have been working on is finally coming together. When I got home from work, I had a package waiting! I got one of the pics I took in Hawaiii blown up and put on a wrap around canvas for our bedroom. Even DH says it's awesome.
DD is driving me crazy. The campus housing department website crashed on the day registration for next year opened. Now everyone's housing is screwed up. She is in a tizzy about it. I told her to relax - they have to get her something because her academic scholarship requires that she lives on campus to get in state tuition. But she is freaking out. Can't do anything about it. So why worry?!

Schools is on a 2 hour delay in the morning because of 5he known power outages and damage.
