Asparagus.  Seriously!  Fresh, steamed to perfection (still firm), tossed with a tiny bit of sea salt, olive oil and a dash of lemon juice... Mmmmmmm.

Honeys Mom ~
Have you tried wrapping asparagus with thin
strips of prosciutto, and baking it at 350 for
20-30 minutes until the prosciutto is crispy?

Yumm!

The list of food I love is much too long.
I'm on a sushi kick lately, but we are making margherita pizzas tonight. I'm gonna have some slices of tomato with salt too. So good.

The medium size stalks work best - not the skinny
ones, or the ultra-large. Spray the pan with non-
stick cooking spray. Enjoy!

Momala, have you not discovered the awesomeness of Reynolds, non-stick foil?

The best thing ever! Forget spraying the pan! Line it with non-stick foil.

(You won't even have to wash the pan. After it cools for a few minutes, roll up the foil and throw it away. And the pan can go back in the cabinet. No sticking...no washing! Yeehaw!)wink

This! I use foil all the time.

Non stick or not.

Okay, I hate to say this, but the spray, (Pam) is hell on your nice non-stick cookware.

And, if it ruins that, I hate to think of what it does to us, when we eat it.cry

(The chemicals, that make it "spray", is not so good.)

Get a Misto. Or two. Fill them up with you favorite cooking oils.

(I have one filled with olive oil, and one with veggie oil. You pump it up a few times, and the air, sprays it, instead of chemicals.)

Just an idea.smile

Okay, and now I'm wondering about what makes the Non-stick foil, non stick.confuse

The packaging, doesn't tell me.

Until I can find out that this is safe, ignore my advice to use it.

(Use good old foil, and a Misto, for now. I think that's what I'm going to do.)

Sorry about that, Good Geeks.

I will try to get some more information.

I use the spray sometimes.

I love it for baking or roasting.

They sell olive oil spray now that does not contain propellants or additives and is safe for non stick cookware. I have a misto, but it never worked real well. Or do what I used to do and apply a thin layer of olive oil with a paper towel.

I've done that, the paper towel and oil thing.
