So one week ago, it was snowing, nearly a foot of snow fell.

Today most of that snow is gone and it will be in the 50's, tomorrow 60's and two days next week the 70's!  Spring has arrived!

Good Morning! I need my coffee! It's 27* here with a high of mid 50s for the day. Sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky. YAY! I have to work today and definitely don't want to. It's only six hours but the way I feel this morning with this dang cold and congestion, it's going to feel like 48 hours. *sigh* I want to go back to bed. Hope everyone has a great day!

Yay for spring! Will be in the 70's here today.
DS and DGS are here, so we are off and running in a few minutes. Town team basketball weekend and always fun.
We will be making Easter eggs later. Full day planned.
Hope you all have an awesome weekend!

Was 45 this morning. Brrr! Cleaning up a little. I have a bag of papers to bring to the county shred event. Thankfully they do it a few times a year. On call later so I'm just taking it easy today.

Sunny and up to 60 here. Just got back from picking Corgi up. He seems to have survived his boarding experience. Good to have him home. We drove through McDonald's for breakfast 😀

52 with a real feel of 60 here, going to 68 today. 75 tomorrow, 80 by Wednesday.

Still have 2 cold snaps to go.

I'm starving.

Need to hang some laundry, put away some things.

Trying to decide what to make for dinner.

Happy Saturday, ya'll.

Mid 50s today, 60s tomorrow, 70s Monday and around 80 on Tuesday. I guess we sort of had spring.

Heading off to the garden center to pick out some plants. Then homework.

Out to dinner for our anniversary tonight (it's actually Monday, 16 years married, 25 years together). And maybe a movie.

I was looking at the plants at the store Wednesday, the ones here are not looking too good.

Scraggly.

I am HORRIBLE with plants and lawncare. I have no interest in it at all. So we just hired a guy to totally revamp our yard. Total sodding, all plants pulled up and total new landscaping. We saw the mock up.last night. Its awesome! I cant wait!

I survived the Fish Fry last night.

My back and knees are screaming at me!

I might be able to unload the car later.

It was a heck of a week here. My mom feel on Monday & fractured her shoulder. I had to leave work & take her to the ER. Then I had to take off Thursday to take her to the ortho. On the ride there we had hellacious storms. The wind was so bad it was rocking my car & the hail was hitting the windshield at a furious pace. Traffic just had to stop on the road. I have never driven through a storm like that.

My mom has surgery sometime next week. It hasn't been scheduled yet. This going to be a rough Spring. My mom loves gardening & she is going to be sidelined all season. My poor niece has to spend her Spring break helping take care of my mom. I can't afford to take more time off work. Besides the docking of pay I can't keep up as it is with the work.

Thanks guys. It was such a shock. She isn't some fragile old lady. She was out with her gator cutting out tree roots that were encroaching on her garden. She grabbed one to yank it out & I guess it was dead & it just let go & she tumbled backwards & just landed wrong.

IKWTDS ~
Since I didn't get out from the fish fry until 8:00;
DH suggested we postpone it until Sunday evening.
I was soooo grateful! We had beverages out on
the porch with a roaring fire in the chiminea, and
then had a light veggie dinner - with the FIRST of
our new potatoes! OMG they were yummy!

Right? An Easter egg hunt and one is surprised by all the little ones running around and running into people? If one has an issue with that, stay away from such events.

I'd have been jumping in and running around with them all but . . . that's me! I love helping all the little ones. But then again, I'm not an ex-librarian.

Ok just cleaned most of my 60 X 20 resin railings. SO easy. But can't turn the outside water on yet, gets below 32 at night. So I feel productive, I've earned a nap. :)

I love Easter egg hunts. I love searching for them as much as the kids!

Today we went to Ringling Bros. circus. OMG! It was fantastic! I have never been to a circus before, because I thought it would be weird. It wasn't. Those performers are so talented! I held my breath during the feline part though. I was afraid for the trainer, but the animals seemed to adore him. Towards the end other animals were brought out, including a couple large pigs and dogs of every size. It was cute. They are so well-trained, something you don't see much anymore (trained dogs). There was so much going on it was a feast for the eyes. Sad that it's ending.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.  As an animal lover, I'm not sure how I feel about circuses.  That thing I read about the Elephant actually shedding tears when it was released from captivity, I know that was India, but it does hurt me that animals being forced to perform or held against their will.  But I know some are loved & hopefully well cared for.

They loved it even before it started! They had pre-show entertainment out while they were setting up the "rings". It was really amazing how well-run it was.

We had a similar morning. I survived one with DS. Nothing like a 3 year old throwing a temper tantrum because he wants to plaaaaaaaay but he also wants to get eeeeeeeegggggssss but he wants to plaaaaaaaaayyyy!!!! He ended up losing an egg because he shook it and it didn't rattle so he tossed it back on the field. I told him to pick it back up but another kid picked it up. Oh well. I told him not everything rattles but that doesn't mean it's empty. The eggs he collected all had either stickers or a small rubbery toy. He said he had fun so mission accomplished.

I enjoy doing stuff with him. Don't get me wrong. But, Lord knows I wouldn't be anywhere near such events if I didn't have him. I don't like crowds - regardless of the age of said crowd.

He won a free karate lesson and entered the coloring contest. I'm excited to see if he enjoys karate. It will be a good outlet for him to do something with all the energy he has.

I am so frustrated right now. My mom got a new phone, but she can't remember her Apple ID password to do the setup of the new phone. And by trying to remember it, we are now locked out. Further complicating the process is she no longer has access to the email for password recovery AND the answers she gave me to her security questions are not correct. I am truly at a loss of what to do. And she's so upset. I just want to fix it, but I don't know how.

 Apple support could probably help.

This happened to DD.  Her father originally set up her iPod and wouldn't give us the password and such and Apple support was no help, it was very frustrating working with the support.  I believe you need to plug it into the computer you originally synced it with.

When she got her phone, we got a new ID and I have the passwords and security questions.
