We had our Easter party at the Seniors' Center
today - one of the local nursing homes brought a
cart load of prizes for our Bingo - it was wonderful!
Our cook provided turkey and dressing, and the
guests brought all sorts of sides - I brought my
favorite - Spinach Hater's Casserole. Unfortunately
I didn't have any left-overs to bring home!
Today is my Friday. Which means that at 5:30 on a Friday evening, I'm still at work. New assistant is working on a report for the president. She asked if I'd stay until she's done incase she has questions. She's already called twice.
Got back from our trip today. We went to PA, to visit the Flight 93 memorial, then on to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. We went last year and had so much fun we decided to return. It was just as much fun this year! I love that place.
Buddy got out today. I didn't realize the kids left the gate open. He was soooo excited to run - I hope it wasn't too soon. But he was a good dog, and came when we called him.

Must be a dog thing. Sam kept watching the back door. Kids were coming and going continually. He finally caught the kid that didn't latch the back door and he was gone.
He's well known in the neighborhood. One of the older neighbor kids brought him back. Then she stayed to visit as well.
Our open back door is well used. lol

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Monster has learned how to catch the storm door before it closes and he goes out.

He had heartworm treatment 6 weeks ago. He's supposed to be on NO activity whatsoever for the first month, and very limited activity for up to 4 months. We walk him on his leash 3 times a day, but he's feeling much better and is getting restless.
