I like looking at small house plans, and I could do a cute one on vacation - but I could not live in one. I like space. I like rooms. I like privacy.

Have you seen the commercial..."Do you have an elk in your bed?"

LOL.....it's for an anti-snoring product, I think.

Yeah. I need enough room to escape my "elk".

Or, I'm going to jail.

For sure!biggrin

If I'm by myself, the tinier the better. I lived in my car for awhile and I didn't mind.

However, living with others, I prefer lots of getaway space!

I could easily live in one of those 500 square foot models - me and my dogs.  With anyone else?  NO WAY!

Ok so my biggest issue with a small place is unless it comes with land and not a condo, I can't do it. I cannot tolerate the issues you can have with people living on top, on the side, and underneath of me. Oh and storage of lawn/snow equipment.

When you move south, that will no longer be an issue.

lawn equipment storage will be and issue if I move south.  And more lawn equipment then I have now.

Depends on the amount of land you get.

No.  You pay a service.  It's less than $100 a month.  We do not mow our own lawn, anymore.

It depends on where you live.

I pay $30 a week. $120 in a month with 4 Thursdays. $150 in the months that there is a 5th Thursday.

It's still much better, than doing it myself, when it's 100+ degrees outside.wink
