I don't know what "be removed" means in your world but in my world it means you advocate firing him. So saying you never suggested it is just proven wrong.

That's what you get for looking at the wrong part of the sentence.
I'll quote myself and bold the salient points:
"
I suggested that Pence should not have taken the job, or should resign, or failing that be removed if he can't treat all of his coworkers as equals.
"
Treat, Coworkers, and Equals. Those were the bullet worthy points in the sentence.
Please, by all means though, find the word "wife" in that sentence. Or, failing that (which you will fail), find any spousal reference. You won't, because I didn't refer to any treatment of his wife in what I said regarding removing him from his job.
No. We were talking about people who thought Pence should be fired for his stance (even though he's broken no law). flan said no one on this board had said that but you came on and proved my point. I really don't care about your reasons because it was more about her pretending things didn't happen they way they did.

Well, there IS an alternate universe for some people.

So you're still claiming that no one here, on this board, said Pence should lose his job for his stance on his marriage? You said they were pathetic if they held that opinion. Remember now?

No one on this board said that, that I know of. That was MY point in my most recent post. Him needing to lose his job (by voluntarily resigning or being removed) has nothing to do with his marriage. It has to do with his choice to not treat people equally regardless of their gender, as is required by the law. Part of being Vice President is following and upholding the law.
The law says "no discrimination based on sex".
Pence says "I will only work late with male aides".
That's discrimination based on sex, plain and simple. His reason for it is irrelevant and has no bearing on his lack of ability to follow the law and perform his duties as required.
That wasn't the point so why do you keep trying to change it. It's simple. flan said NO ONE said Pence should be fired because of his stance on his own marriage. You came right in and said he should be fired because he won't meet alone with women because of the way he behaves in his marriage. Thus you are AT LEAST ONE PERSON who said he should be fired because of his stance on his meeting alone with women. If what he was doing was illegal the dems would have had him removed by now and your personal feelings on it don't mean a damn thing to him or to the law but knock yourself out worrying about a marriage you have no say in.

Yeah, you know. Where perversion is held up as good (transgenders are good and deserve special treatment) while morality is to be shunned (men honoring their wives is bad and they should be fired as public servants)...
Who said Pence "should be fired?"
Pathetic...no
flan
Here is your exact quote. WYSIWYG obviously said it. When I asked about you calling me pathetic you replied it was about people who would say that. Does that mean you were calling WYSIWYG pathetic or can you now admit you were calling me that? Which is it flan? I won't hold my breath for an answer.

I told you you'd have an excuse. You are just so darn predictable flan.
Which tells me that you DON'T actually want an answer.
flan
How do you figure that? I asked a question. I even stated you'd have an excuse why you can't or won't answer. Everybody knows when the questions are asked, flan runs away.

I never said the bolded. Not even once. I address how he is required by law to treat all co-workers and subordinates equally regardless of gender. I never commented on his marriage, except to say that he's free to honor his vows in his private life all he wants to... and that he can do that without discriminating at work.
His marriage has no bearing on his job as Vice President. None.
You said he should be fired because he won't meet alone with women. He won't meet alone with women because of his wife and how THEY define their marriage. Trying to separate the two things so you some how sound better isn't working. One last time. If what he was doing was illegal or could be used against him in any way possible you can bet the farm that the Liberals would have used it against him by now. You and flan are welcome to gnash your teeth and wring your hands all you want but it won't get you anywhere. Continue talking in circles but it doesn't make what you said any more true.

Yet you STLL didn't answer the question. So. Let's get this straight. You're the only one with a life (when it suits you to not answer a question). Can you come up with anymore excuses? Nobody dodges a question quite like you...lol

Stop putting words in my mouth.
Here's MY question: why does every post of yours end with "lol?"
You act like you're the only one with a life. Everybody else has a life and can still answer a direct question. They don't all end with lol. Maybe a lot do but that's because I laugh at you so often. I answered your question. Now answer mine.

Go back and look. It's not that difficult but certainly is another excuse why you can't answer. Bashing you? You always post so kindly toward me why would I do that? Here's another question you won't answer. Why does my lol bother you so much when you end EVERY SINGLE POST with your name? It may have been necessary way back when but now it feels like you just like to see your own screen name.

But, no, you get too much pleasure out of bashing me...Makes you feel SO special.

OMG! I have literally seen this exact scenario play out hundreds of times on one thread or another on one board or another from flan. It starts by her not answering a direct question posted to her by someone. She ignores it with the usual excuses that she didn't see it or snarky on-liners like Why should I answer. The topic goes off into post after post of her not answering and one excuse after another. After pages of this, she finally asks for the question to be repeated and when it is, she still doesn't / won't answer.

Thumbs up all you want but it wasn't what we were discussing at all. If it makes you feel like you actually had a valid argument for calling me pathetic (or were you calling the people like WYSIWYG who said he should be fired pathetic [the original unanswered question]) then more power to you. Just remember it's all on this thread for everyone to see.
