I feel you SB. It's always hard to get back into it after a vacation. I sometimes need a vacation from my vacation when we try to do too much in a short time. I'm just glad the weather is finally going to clear up. I need to get a lot of yard work done. I have 2 Japanese maple trees that need to be planted. They've been growing in big pots on my sun porch all winter and they are looking so good.

I'm off today and the dog woke me up early. I took him out and all he wanted to do was eat grass. I won't let him do that because then he pukes all over my house. He hasn't eaten his breakfast and that is so not like him.

My Jap maple got huge this spring. I had to trim the bottom branches to make it look more oriental. (Look, two politically incorrect words already!) I might trim more, but I want to live with it for a bit and decide.
Take Your Child To Work Day here. We'll be playing with biofluids and oobleck. Well, they will be, I'll just observe. And lunch at the pizza/pasta/salad buffet.
I am steaming mad right now. I did not hire the turf care company that I've used for the past few years. They are insane. They charged me for services I didn't order last year and I had it out with them at the time. They sent me two letters this year to sign up for services, I tossed them. They also called me to see if I was signing up with them. I said no.
I hired Tru Green instead. Tru Green was out here the other day applying the first fertilizer and weed killer.
Just a few minutes ago I looked out the window because I had been hearing a loud machine noise. It was the company I DIDN'T hire applying the treatment. I ran outside and stopped the guy. He gave me some BS excuse saying that unless I inform them in writing they come. I told him they will be responsible if I lose my lawn due to the over treatment. I then emailed them. They called and gave me the BS line that their POLICY is they come every year unless I cancel. I told them I did not send back the contract. I am so mad, I did not send them back either of the contracts they sent me, like I said I tossed them. The office person who called was so rude on the phone.

Sounds like an invitation to a 911 call regarding trespassers and vandals.
I thought about calling the police. But then I figured that is not a good use on my tax dollars. The guy did leave when I told him to. Still so made, took a hot shower to help calm down.

Woke last night to the sound of thunder, how far off I sat and wondered.....
It was a rough night for me. Oh well.

I bet you get a bill in the mail.
I would send them a certified letter outlining the argument over charges last year, the numerous "nos" to renew, and you sending him away when he showed up and telling them that if they step foot on your property again, you will charge them with trespassing.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

I did, in the email I sent, that they of course are not responding to. If they do send a bill, then I will do what LL suggested AND make a complaint to BBB AND write a bad review.

I'd put everything you said in the email, on paper, have it noterized, and sent certified so they had to sign for it.
That way, you have actual, in hand proof of the correspondence.

And press charges for fraud?
If they send a bill? Yes

I just spent 3 hours in a car taking Aaron to get his glasses.
I'm exhausted.

I just spent the past hour righting my two log racks. One for the wood that does not fit in my fireplace and one for the wood that does, when I had my wood delivered last November, I had no time to stack the wood before the snow started. So at least now that area is neater, and I shook out the rack covers and put the on the racks, just need a decent rain storm to get them looking cleaner. This messy area has been a monkey on my back for 6 months.

There are 8 clients on the wait list that I want. I can't fit them all in so will have to pick a few, but I'm feeling very greedy about having clients who are above the age of 16.

Can you work later into the evening hours?

So I've been trying to sell my wedding dress on Craigslist and so far the only responses I'm getting seem to be overly enthusiastic buyers who live far away and want to do everything by money order or cashiers checks.
I feel like they are scams, what do you guys think? I don't sell stuff too often.

My last wedding dress just collected dust in the closet I never even thought about it. Plus, I wasn't really into this one, he picked it out, and i could use the money

My rule for Craigslist is cash only. Are there any Facebook garage sale groups in your area? I have better luck with those than craigslist. since it has their profiles, it's a little less creepy. Or a consignment shop might take it

When I posted my car on craigslist I had several of those scams contact me, they will wire the money, give them my bank account or they will send a check they have. I quickly took my add down and put it on the FB yard sale sites. Also if you do sell it on FB have the meeting place be in the parking lot of you local PD. If the person is a scam artist they won't show, if they are legit they will be happy you chose the PD>
