I don't agree with the concept, so I will not be watching it.
I don't believe in vowing before God to "love, honor, and cherish" someone you just met. Anyone can probably keep the "honor" part of the vow, without too much problem, even if they never love or cherish the person. But you can't fake or force love or cherishing.
I am watching it and I am very hopeful for all three of the couples.
With the one couple I was like, um... he certainly got an upgrade in the deal. So I was a bit concerned at how she would feel. But then she came back with saying he is cute and she is digging him. So well then, ok! We are all good to go!
How about the parents of the other couple tho! HOO BOY that is gonna explode! But hubby needs to stop macking on the wife, licking his lips and being such a vocal dog about it. Cool the jets dood. At least put a stronger filter on your mouth.
And the 25 yr old with the 30 yr old, I still have hopes for them, but yeah, this is the second time they have put a younger guy with an older girl. This is not very normal now a days, so why they do that in THIS questionable situation is beyond my understanding. But I wish them good luck.

Statistically women live approximately six years longer than their male counterparts.
Well, a 25 yr old guy is nowhere near the maturity level of a 30 yr old woman. Why even set it up that way out of the gate? Yes, there are younger men/older women who have great relationships. But, this is a different situation.
