Wow. I just spent an entire 10 hour shift doing nothing, and I mean nothing. My job today depended on waiting for other people to get their jobs done and THEY were waiting on other people to get their jobs done! Talk about easy (but boring) money.

Congratulations to your husband, Fran. He may have been looking forward to this but I am willing to bet it will be quite an emotional thing once it sinks in that he is really retired from that job. From my experience, it feels a little "empty" for a while.
