Happy Mother's Day all! We're getting ready to go to brunch. The boys served me breakfast in bed and even opened my present for me. LOL My new Keurig! Of course the first thing I made was hot chocolate for the boys. #allaboutthem

Morning.

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms.

We went out with mom last night so she could spend today with her mom.

I'm watching old black and white movies and pondering my options for the day.

The doves are back on the nest in the window above our front door!

We think they are starting another round of babies.

(I looked it up, and it seems that they will lay eggs up to 5 times in a season. Who knew?)wink

I guess we're going to be on clean up duty for a next couple of months.

Happy Mothers Day to all Mom figures out there. The Mothers, grandmothers, step-mothers, mother-to-be, want to be mothers, and anyone who helps take on that role.

It appears that our nest has babies but I have not been able to take a decent picture of them yet.

 We have a nest over our front door too!  And a load of crap on the ground!  Ugh.  They have five very hungry little mouths in there.  So adorable to watch.

We had a fantastic brunch here at home with blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon, and pineapple mimosas.
I think we are going to spend the afternoon in the pool.

for that week, and I knew that our visiting
priest raises goats, so instead of flowers, I
made a veggie arrangement - romaine lettuce,
corn, carrots, broccoli, lemons, oranges squash,

Can't go see my mawmaw cause I have a fever.

Can't be around mom, much either right now. Thankfully, mom left early so I wasn't around her while running a fever.

Oh well.

But now that my kids are all older, I can actually go to bed when I'm sick.

Ha, remember when your kids we little and, as a mom, being sick meant you slowed down just enough to stay alive?

I treated myself to a pedicure, the pedicure place wants me to bring biz cards and information packets on my Lipsense. :) They place was very busy. Rain & cold day + Mothers day=busy nail salons. I bet I could have sold a lot had I brought my inventory!


DD and DS got me a gold dipped rose and a gift card to Applebees. DD and I are just hanging around the house now. Will be making our special quesadilla's later, we like making them together.

When I pulled in the driveway coming home from the Nail place, there was a morning dove in my driveway, that bird was fat, my guess is she is going to be a momma. She needs to lay those eggs!

Happy Mothers day to all the geeks! Son and Dil brought over brunch and gifts for me💖 Gave my dil a picture of grandson in a frame and a Starbucks gift card, will give my dd a picture of the girls for her for mother's day. Dd and oldest granddaughter are taking me to a tea room for my mothers day gift. Can't wait to see them.

I do hope you get to feeling better lily.
