If this one was allowed to slide, next year, there would be 2 or 3 do it.
Do you let them slide? Why or why not?
If you do, then the next year it's 20 kids.
Before you know it, no one shows up at all.

When someone has your name, and they are waiting for you at the prom door so they can tell you you dont get to participate... yeah. THOSE people get my stinkeye.
She LEFT after being told not to. The one time I did that in school, I got suspended. The school is in charge of attendance - of course they had her name. How else do you enforce the rules when the kids don't attend the required hours that day?

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Both of my proms were on Saturday, the night before Mother's Day. Both years, I had to be at church by 8 am the next day because the youth group did a Mother's Day program. There was a lot of mt dew those mornings.
