Good morning! Went to Wilmington, N.C. yesterday with dh,dd and family for my daughters birthday. We went to see the replicas of the Columbus ships the Nina and pinta which was really interesting. Then took the girls to play at the beach and went out for seafood. It was a lot of fun.

I bought a new windchime to hang at my grandparents grave. When I got there, the Boy Scouts were out putting flags on the veterans' graves for Memorial Day. As I was hanging my wind chime, they got to my grandfather. I couldn't handle it. I was barely able to get out thank you to the kid. It was a touching moment.

Borrowed the neighbor's lawn mower, so that chore is done. Beautiful day out so I took the dog for a walk. I still have a few things I want to do outside but need to get some errands done first.
A Robin built her nest in my cherry tree. Eggs must be about to hatch because she didn't fly away when I was mowing around the tree, she just glared at me.

The one right beside us to the left, she had gall bladder surgery. She is the main caretaker of her husband, he has had several strokes and is on dyalisis. So their son is now taking the dad 3 days a week. Thankfully, she is healing nicely and should be back to her old self in a week or two.
The saddest news, the neighbor 3 houses up, he died this morning. His wife and son had been taking care of him for a few months. His granddaughter, 8, was the light in his world.
I'm going to make some food for first neighbor, I think I'll wait a week and send something to second neighbor.

It works on humans, should work on dogs.
For those who are curious, the Johnson baby shampoo is great for cleaning infected, or just itchy, eyes.
A small drop in clean hands, wet with clean water, work into a lather, and rub eyes, then rinse.
A nurse told me this way back when one of my kids had pink eye.
Worked like a charm.
Can be used daily.
