Morning! It's a gloomy start to the day here in my neck of the world. Definitely have rain on the way. Glad I got my errands and such accomplished yesterday. I can sit in and relax (or not).
It's dark and gloomy here right now. But it's not supposed to rain. Odd. Cooler this week, which is fine for me, I like it cool. Perfect temp range for me is 65-73.
We finally got some rain during the night. The watermelons and tomatoes are happy.
I would be happy to send you the rain from here. We've had so much over the last month that it's hard for me to remember the last time the sun sprayed its rays over anything.
Gorgeous day.
Go to spend almost all weekend with the Sweetness and Bruiser. They were at my house from 10:00 - 5:00 on Saturday and then they had a joint birthday party yesterday. So, all in all, it was a GREAT weekend!!!!!
Now back to the grind...

The forecast says no rain today.
Of course it also said that yesterday, so we went to the Renaissance fair. And spent several hours walking around in rain and mud. I really wish I hadn't worn my new sandals. Other than very muddy feet, we still managed to have a great time.
Monday is chores and grocery shopping day for me. I should probably get started on all that.
Ugh. the upstairs people have been fighting since 430 in the morning. Wasn't loud enough to keep me from sleeping, but loud enough that I only hear muffled voices and the occasional word. Inconsistent and unexpected sounds are annoying as hell.
I'll trade ya! You should live in my apartment. I hear EVERYTHING! I hear when the guy downstairs pees in his toilet if I happen to be in my bathroom at the same time. When he sneezes, which is a million times a day, it sounds like he is in my apartment. When he blows his nose, it sounds like a bullhorn or mating call of some moose. And snoring, well, let's just say I don't ever get a solid night's sleep.
Hence, I am looking for other living arrangements.
Ugh, FS. I wouldn't be able to deal. I think that there should be a 48hr grace period on an apartment. If it's unlivable the lease should be void. I have all the building's hot water pipes running along the ceiling of my place. The temperature of my apartment changes based on what people are doing in their bathrooms ...
My last apartment was like that. All heating and hot water pipes ran under my floor and up the walls. Not much heat was needed in my place during a mild winter. lol
I feel for ya'll. I absolutely hated living in apartments.

Sounds like a FANTASTIC weekend.
I'm hoping to make up my Itty bitty time this weekend.
I threw my back out working in my little flower garden over the weekend. I was losing my summer flower window, and I knew it. Overall it was awesome, enjoyable and productive - I need to post some pictures!
The problem for me is gardening is the one thing (other than an excellent book) that I can get lost in. I got much more accomplished than planned, but my poor back...

Thanks everyone! I went to my chiropractor this morning and got heat, massage, rolling table and a good adjustment. I felt the spasm release but it came back after I was back at the office for awhile. Got heat on it now.
My Droid tells me, incorrectly, that there are no pictures to download every time I try to download to my laptop. I know there's a setting, just need to find it again.
I'll try to get some pics posted soon - as it is, I'll probably just miss showing you all the lovely Amaryllis. I had 13 of them bloom this year, 9 giant reds, 1 giant pink/white and 3 smaller red/white.
Currently fighting the urge to go home early. I might even take one of my dad's pain pills, which I never, ever do. Desperate times, desperate measures...
