Yes, evil has always existed. And, everyone is capable of it. However most people, aren't as evil as they COULD be. Now, we are finding that this has been amplified. If Cain killed Abel today, he would have tortured him first, then killed him, then dismembered him and then gone on to kill his family as well. The gloves have come off and now evil is in a full on free for all. And, the only thing necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do NOTHING.
