This is such a sweet and fun thread! I'm smiling from ear to ear!
I could find nice things to say about everyone here.
Somehow, no one has mentioned msrock, and her wonderful pictures of kiddie rock and her beautiful granddaughter!
So, I thought I add that.
(I love the pictures of our children/grandchildren, and our pets.)
Aw thanks FWM. I don't post a whole lot so I can see how I wouldn't be mentioned.
And you are a very kind and gracious soul. I am excited for you and your family on the arrival of your newest family member. She will bring you so much joy!
Thanks, msrock! We are very excited to be grandparents! I'll finally be part of the club!
Oh, and how could we forget SB??? She's kind hearted, and funny! I always enjoy her posts, too.
Well, I think my affection for SB, FWM and Honey's Mom are apparent in my faith in them as moderators.
For the most part, I think you do the most moderating work, then FWM and SB, then me once in a blue moon. From what I hear everyone else describe about some of the "other" boards, this place is peaceful most of the time.
I don't even know where to start!! You geeks are an awesome group of people. It's a family here! I don't want to leave anyone out! The more they merrier!
LL - You are the steady eddy at the helm! I appreciate you resolute and steadfast personality. I can tell you are very good at your job and I am very touched at how you have stood in the gap for your family. That is what life is all about.
FNW - You seemed quiet to me at first. But, you are a fiery, feisty gal! And, you are very articulate and kind! And, no doubt a lot of fun!
04 - You don't mince words. You say what you mean and mean what you say. You have passion and an infectious enthusiasm for life! Don't ever change!
Lilly - You have a deep and abiding faith! And, you look for the goodness in life and those around you. You are a great mom and daughter!
Czech - You are unflouncable! Your sunny disposition makes it so that you cannot be flounced! I really appreciate your wisdom and thoughtfulness.
Mary Zombie - You don't post as much as i would like. But, when you do, you really deliver! I love to read your posts because they just get right to the heart of it but with humor and great style!
Flan - We have had our differences. But, I know that you have a heart and passion for kids and for your job and your family. But, you do seriously need to embrace bacon!
Trudy - I would love to see you posting more as well! Love your humor and wit!
Then, there are the MOMS of the board! Fort Worth Mom, Honey's Mom, Momala! It is such a pleasure to get to know such great people!!
First there is Vette. She's my homegirl. She's always a text away when I need her to totally understand my craziness like no one else can. And I love you and am eternally greatful for that.
IKWTDS, I think it's obvious what she means to me. But even beyond bringing The Boy into my life, she is such a cheerleader for me. And has so much insight into life in general.
JLBear - I so admire your work ethic. You make me feel like a slacker with every post
Trudy - you just seem like such a cool chick. And it would be awesome to just sit around and drink and shoot the breeze.
These are obviously only the highlights. I love you all. I have been through so much in my life during my time with the Geeks. And you all have been a huge support system to me.
LL: Thanks for creating this board so we could continue having a board after PBJ bailed on us. Thanks for organizing SS each year. Though I'm not into organic stuff, I really appreciate the educational posts you make concerning organic food and GMOs.
IKWTDS: I've really come to appreciate your wisdom over the years. I think I still have the spreadsheet you sent me some years ago on how mortgage payments work.
NJN: We butted heads frequently in the beginning but I'm glad we're past that. I appreciate your parenting advice and wisdom. I can't wait till you're a grandma. You're going to have so much fun.

Thanks for your vote of confidence, chef, but Husker is a big boy. I'm not going to nag him. I prefer to keep the peace with him.

Do you see a theme?
Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
I typed a whole list of all the geeks and a sentence of each one but my nook wouldn't let me post it😢. So I will just say this, of all of the boards I've been on this has been the most welcoming one to me. You are all a great bunch and I do appreciate being able to come here and find a community. I do have a hard time expressing myself and being on this board has helped me a lot.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your community.
Lindley, you are very sweet and I love posting with you.

Honeys_Mom, you always seem level headed, and you bring the most amazing desserts.
Chef, I feel like you are a very down to earth woman and that you and I could probably get into some serious fun. I love your practical view of life.
Msrock, I like the pictures you post of your garden, cat, and grandbaby.
Jlbear71, thank you for the tips, suggestions, and information. I also love how hard you work on your schoolwork.
DG, I am proud of you and am enjoying reading your adventures.
Forever Sunshine, you're always upbeat.
Southern_Belle, I know you work hard, I applaud that, but I also think of you as beach chic for whatever reason.
NAOW, Mellow Momma, Backpacker, ya'll should post more often.
