Now, if anyone wants to take away my title, as "Queen of the Road"...I might have a small issue, with that.

I can drive, like no other. Jacksonville, FL to Fort Worth,TX...in one day. (I'll never do it again. 19 hours is too long as the only driver. I will limit myself to 12 or 13 hour hops, in the future.)wink

I'm not going to single anyone out. I generally like everyone that's a posting member here for one thing if nothing else: All of your posts, even the ones I may disagree with, are well worded and easy to read and understand your point. I can't think of a single exception here to that.

Before I found this place I came across some real doozies when it comes to people typing in that garbage "text speak" and I just can't handle that. The English language is hard enough (I believe that we have twice as many words as any other singular language, some of which sound the same but mean different things, some of which mean the same but are different, and some that are one word but mean different things at different times) without people making it unnecessarily more difficult.

And thank YOU, WYSIWYG, for confirming that I'm not the only one driven to distraction by text-speak!  I tend toward grammar Nazi-ism as it is, though I rarely point out out misspellings or grammar abuses.  

I see a lot of memes on FB  that I'd love to share, but an egregious grammar error prevents me from doing so, LOL...biggrin

Speaking of text speak.. who was that poster many many many years ago on MM that used to submit jumbled messes? I swear they texted from under a table during a class just to see if they could irritate one more person with the jumbled mess.

I generally like everyone as well. I finally weaned myself off the MM board because there were some posters I was beginning to despise - my life is a better place without them in it.

I am very grateful for all the knowledge and kindness these boards have afforded me over the years.

But there are. A few that it's obvious they make most of their **** up and couldn't even keep the stories straight and they were protected.
The may or may not have made fun but of indirectly hence the banning
