I really should have gone to work today but I just couldn't make myself get out of bed.

So instead I get to spend the day scraping moss off the roof

Dog woke me up before 6 so all my errands are done, even mowed the lawn. Need to take him for a walk soon.

She's getting better. Hasn't had a bleed in a couple days. But she's still afraid to bend her head over. She's been off baby aspirin since Tuesday so when she does bleed, it's not as much. She is happier knowing she's not dying yet. LOL

Today DH is in a golf tournament. Actually, it's both days this weekend. So the boys and I swam for a couple hours and now I'm scanning the internet for dinner ideas. Tomorrow I'm taking them to PA to go to my friend's great granddaughter's graduation party. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

Made an early trip into San Antonio to the wholesale
florist (spent more than I should ); met DH at
the grocery market - he finds meat on sale and totally
disrupts my menu planning for the week! As soon as I
got the groceries put away, he wanted to go out to a
couple of yard sales he had seen posted on the highway.
I came back with two leaded glass dishes - perfect for
arranging the flowers at church; plus 3 turquoise wine
bottles that I will take to the glass man and ask him to
cut off the necks, so I'll have 3 lovely vases. DH got 4
shirts, a cell phone cover, and a stand-alone sink so he
can build a cleaning station for the fish. Spent less than
$10 all together

I had the fun of a second visit to an urgent care. Started feeling like I had strep on Wednesday. Thursday called Primary and evenutally went to UC after no call back from primary. Rapid test was negative and was sent home with no meds. furious  No better today and ears started to feel affected too so off to different UC.  Couple of scripts called in.  No strep but who knows what further tests results will be.  

Hope everyone has a better weekend than me.

And I have two papers to finish by tomorrow night.

Well, I worked today. Not a full day but I've about had my fill of it there. Such petty cattiness! I'm too old for this sh!t.

Sometimes it pays to keep looking even though you think you've settled on something. I went to see another apartment today not far from where I currently work. The cost of this apartment is the same as the one I want when you factor in the heating cost of electric heat there. Well, I absolutely could not wait to get home and immediately hop in the shower after touring this place. OMG! It's a real shame what people pass off as living quarters and then charge an arm and a leg for them. It was truly one of the most disgusting apartments I think I've seen in a long time.

The one I want and am going to see on Wednesday will seem like a palace compared to this one! Oy!

Sounds like everyone has had a great day, except for jlbear. I hope you feel better soon!

Waiting for DS to get home and DH to get off work. Going to make sponge cake for strawberry shortcake when my sous chef gets here.

Now that it's warm enough, we'll have to take DS to the splash pad. Haven't decided if I want to get swim diapers or not. He's daytime potty trained and is pretty good now at saying when he has to go. I'm just not sure I want to risk an accident on the splash pad.
