I felt so bad for hubby. He went to the concert last night and this is what he had to say about it.

 

"It's disappointing to spend my hard earned money to go get entertained and instead get 2 1/2 hours of Trump bashing by someone from Britain. Yet he uses his platform here in the US. Never again."

There is a time and place for everything. I think what made this SO bad was that it wasnt just a comment here or there, it was a full on media blitz for the full concert.

Is gilmour touring?

I just feel so bad for hubby. I mean, he was really REALLY looking forward to a night of chill music and instead got irritated and stayed full on insulted the whole night.

Roger has always been an ass. The Gilmour tour always upstages his wanna be Pink Floyd crap. That's why the rest of the band kept touring and performing great concerts.

Colorado is mostly liberal progressives, so this concert was probably very much a happy time for them.

I will let hubby know to look for the Gilmour tour.

Can we just go to a concert or play or show or movie to enjoy and ESCAPE from the daily grind of life? Can we just be transported to a different place for 2 hours of listening to great music? It's freaking annoying. And, I think twice before i bother to waste my money anymore.

its ok. You get used to it for the most part. Otherwise you just continue enjoying the good parts of colorado and ignore the dimwits.
