Too funny. He told Trump 3 times he wasn't under investigation, first two times Trump didn't ask him, Comey just volunteered the info. Tomorrow's testimony will be be a bust but I am sure CNN will spin it!

How pitiful that DC is so invested in themselves that they cant see past their constant antics to realize they are making fools of themselves and america.
Comey accused the administration of defaming him and that comments made about his competency “were lies, plain and simple.”
Comey also told senators he decided to document meetings he had with Trump because he was “honestly concerned that he might lie about the nature of our meeting, so I thought it was really important to document.”
“I knew there might come a day when I might need a record of what happened not only to defend myself but to protect the FBI,” he added.

So, Trump staring silently at him, and his body language is what gave Comey the most cause for concern. That testimony was a bit of a letdown - I expected a bit more salacious details.

And why was he permitted to testify as to private conversations with the President? I did not see where Trump waived his Executive Privilege. Shame on Comey.
I have to say, the Libs have been silent on my FB feed. Not exactly sure why, But Comey stating Trump is not under investigation and the fact he agreed with Trump and is "stunned" about the fake news media may have something to do with it. Although I am sure they are just regrouping and trying to think of what the next narrative should be.

I especially loved the questioning about the papers that he had a friend give to the media versus ones that he refused to talk about because they were classified.
Not that I especially think it should have been classified, but, did Comey have the right to decide which conversations with THE PRESIDENT are classified and which ones aren't?
My husband keeps saying they have this and that on Trump and I'm like ok because someone said they did?
Yet it seems like they keep finding zip. Nada.

I have a question for you, do the libs not get they have been taken for a ride with all the fake news media and narrative coming from the pols on the left? It has been proven time and time again the fake crap out there. I was calling the MSM fake news longer than Trump has. I just don't get why people still believe what those media outlets and Pols tell them.

Thanks for that reply. The thing is, all of our 401Ks have gained so much since his election, the job market is now that anyone who wants a job can get one because there are not enough workers to fill the open positions, housing market is awesome, we are safer today than we were 6 months ago from terrorist attacks, illegal immigration is way down and those here committing crimes are being taken off the streets. I may not like him personally but he is doing,, or trying to do, great things for all of us. That is all I care about in a President.
