We FINALLY got our wedding pictures back and I've been spending all week printing them out and organizing which ones to send to which family members. Today I can mail them all out and get them out of my hair!
Today I'm also going to wash the bedsheets and dogs like I mentioned before.
What are your chores for the day?

Was it a bad day?
Or was it a bad five minutes that you milked all day?
Still dealing with the effects of yesterday's chores, if I ever get to sleep, when I wake up I'm going to finish in the kitchen.
Need to sanitize everything.
Hopefully it doesn't take long.
It's nearly 3am, I need to sleep.

It's 2am here; still keyed up from all the selling at the
farmers market; if I get up early enough, I'll make
some Bread & Butter Pickles with the Kirbys and
maybe some of the yellow squash, if I have enough
onions and spices.
Lawn work today since tomorrow it is supposed to be in the 90's and don't' want to mow the lawn in the heat. Also have to get the groceries and chauffeur DD to various parties.

I need to get started on the kitchen. I just don't have the energy yet.

My fingers are literally bleeding and blistered from stretching balloons over balloons for stressballs. And I had to blow up 78 balloons for them, to stretch them out before #2 could fill them with flour. I need oxygen and bandaids. But it's done.
#1 finished 10 pet rocks and is taking a break from it for the day. Wimp.

Yes, we filled 26 balloons with flour. Well, more if you count the protocols we made to determine the correct amounts, etc. We also tried oobleck but it gets too hard. Then we wrap each one with two more balloons for strength. We have to blow them up first so they can hold enough flour to make it bigger (I used 9" balloons) and to make them more pliable. If you blow up the first one, you have to blow up the ones that go over it or else they won't stretch enough to get them on the first one. Ugh. Anyway, they are done. Now I need a manicure, but I'll wait until my fingers heal. This project drew blood.
Had to take the dog out to pee, Teenager across the street was out, Sonny loves him and wanted to go see him. This kid, Jake, I have known since he was 8. He is graduating this week for HS, has such a great plan for college and how to pay for it, he has help from his parents but will also work. Such a great kid. I am going to his graduation party next weekend but know I won't have the opportunity to have such a discussion with him, it was so nice to do that tonight. Sonny is in the big window right how whining and staring at Jake. LOL.

My hair was at that indeterminate stage, when it
won't do what you want it to do, and even if you
use a hair band, it just flies away. My regular hair
dresser is on vacation - never, N E V E R go to
Fantastic Sams, and ask for a trim. I asked her
to trim it to a length that would clear my eyebrows
if it was combed in front, but that I wanted it all to
be off my face - everything combed back.
Yikes! When I finally saw what she had done, I was
frantic! I told her to stop cutting, just put some
spray on it, blow it dry, and give it some curls with
a curling iron. Good thing I had enough time to go
home and correct her mistakes.
My regular hair dresser will be livid when I see her
in a couple of weeks. Sigh.
My hairdresser told me the other day she will be out of the country for 3 weeks. She gave me the names of two people who can do my color (she has the formula written down) but not to let them cut my hair, just wait until she returns.

Got it. I need to start getting mine done (reached the age where it doesn't look shiny and full on it's own) and was hoping that every 12 weeks would work. I don't think I can afford monthly. How fast does your hair grow?
Tig, do you use a clarifying shampoo at all? Shampoos, conditioners, etc. can leave a residue buildup on your hair making it dull and lifeless. The best home remedy for a clarifying shampoo is apple cider vinegar (acv). Mix one part acv to four parts water and "shampoo" with it leaving it on for about ten minutes.
I colored my hair last year for mom and dad's anniversary party.
It looked so fake.
It's weird cause I use to color my hair all the time.
Now it's just grey.

I used some bright blue temporary hair dye to play a trick on my kids.
It washed out that evening.
