Because it is near 100 here and will be the next two days. I am so happy I had central air installed last year.
I have already done so much decluttering and cleaning this morning since it is too hot to be outside. And the kid is here detailing my car. It's going to get a wax too.

Can I borrow "the kid". I got the Jeep washed and vacuumed out yesterday but ran out of steam before I got'er waxed.
It's not a bad day here so far heat-wise. It's supposed to hit mid 90s but right now there is a beautiful breeze blowing in through the apartment. It's actually pretty comfortable. I'm enjoying it while watching the men's final of the French Open. I was able to find NBC Sports on my lappy. I'm happy!
I have to order sub trays for a meeting tomorrow. Each tray serves 5-9 people per the website. I have 7 people. Do I order 1 and hope everyone is only slightly hungry? Or 2 and chance a lot of left overs?

I always over order from a new place first time. I gauge how much is really needed for the follow on times. Hmmm, italian sub would hit the spot right now!

It's not a new place, it's just subway. But it seems the eating habits of my coworkers are never consistent. One time I'll have enough left over to feed the rest of the office, another there are barely crumbs to be found.
I'll probably go with two. It won't go to waste. Can leave any extra for night shift, they eat anything and everything.

After being frustrated many times with the inconsistency in food consumption for luncheons I used to organize for a Profession society I was involved with, I switched to boxed lunches. I would give attendees a choice of three different types of sandwiches plus always had a veggie option. Each lunch came with a nice sandwich (gourmet style) a piece of fruit and chips. No longer had to worry about how much food to order.

Wow, 100? It's 81 here. Not even humid. We've been spending a lot of time outside lately.
The magnolias are blooming and the yard smells amazing.
Did not get my kitchen done yesterday, needed to recuperate from Friday's cleaning. Gonna get on it today.
Watching Delicious Destinations right now. It's doubly good cause they are in Cajun country so all the men they talk to have that sexy accent.
Makes me want frog legs.

Two sub trays for tomorrow's dinner ordered. Catering for tomorrow's lunch confirmed. Apparently social coordinator is being added to my job description.
