Ooooh! The Little Princess!

And all of the Anne of Green Gables books, or anything by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Emily of New Moon was pretty good. Wish CBC had done that one instead of re-making Anne.

The Secret Garden was a favorite of mine. I read all the Nancy Drew as well.
I read pretty much everything I came across as a child.

We had a whole bunch of the Little Golden books. Remember those?

Caitlyn picked out Jesse's name from one.

Aaron's, too, actually.

Love The little House Books. So much that I have books of other Laura Ingalls Wilder writings (she wrote a column for a newspaper for a number of years) and just read her annotated biography this summer. PLUS last year I finally made the trek to Rocky Ridge Farm - that was her and Almonzos home until their death in Mansfield Missouri.

I loved Trixie Belden and Nsncy Drew - preferably the old ones before they were modernized.

The original was fantastic. The remake is annoying.
