A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Goodnight Moon. First, boring as all heck. Second, why are you talking to inanimate objects? I found it very confusing.
Did you never talk to inanimate objects? I know I did and my kids did too. They, (like the book, although I don't remember reading it to them), told everything and the kitchen sink goodnight. It was a way to prolong bedtime.

I don't think I did that! I always smuggled a book under my pillow, so bedtime was pretty easy - even as a little one. Besides ... that book had a terrible plot line.
a certain Beauty and the Beast book. LOL!!!!! It was quite a long one, and DD knew if I tried to skip a page. And she made me read in the voices of the characters. Mrs Potts, Chip, Limier, Cogsworth, Belle, Beast...EVERY ONE OF THEM had to have it's own special voice. It would take 45 minutes to read that book, and she wanted it every night. I was so tired of that book.....
Now I wish I could go back and read it to her a dozen more times...
