Has anyone had light cosmetic procedures done? I kind of want to get my crows feet fixed, but am not sure. Its just starting to bother me and I'd rather start fixing it sooner than later. I think it would be better to start the process before everyone really notices that I am having minor work done.
No, but I understand if you start having botox early enough, before wrinkles start, that helps prevent them.
I have a friend or two that had some work done, including my aunt who had the skin on her eyelids lifted. It was very painful and result...didn't make much of a difference, IMO. If it's done right, it's not very noticeable. If not done right, you look like Priscilla Presley. So to me, what's the point?
I told myself I would get a tummy tuck or lipo or whatever after having the boys, until I talked to a co-worker who had it done years ago and to this day, she can't eat more than a child's sized fist of food or else she will become ill.
My sister sells the Rodan & Fields skin care products. They have a "reverse" line that she thinks is great. You might try something like that before going to Botox route. I'm happy to provide her info if you want more information.
Mom worked with a lady who did botox injections in the forehead, around her eyes, and her mouth.
After years of no problem, a nerve was hit by one of the injections.
Then she got an infection.
Took about a year to straighten out.
She was going to a really expensive, supposedly well know doctor in the Atlanta area.
Just, do your homework.
As for my strategy, I started using Oil of Olay in my teens.
My great grandmother used it forever, she was 98 when she died, she barely had wrinkles and she had spent the better part of her life in the fields.
The commercials said Oil of Olay would make you look 10 years younger, so I figured if I was 30 and looked 20, I'd be ok with that.

I started using Genucel a year or so ago. It's for bags and puffiness. It must work, as I have no bags or puffiness. (I felt as though I was getting a little big of bags before using).

I use that now, have for a few years. Using it up then will switch to SeneGence. I find Genucel to be mildly affective. But I do not like how they push you to do auto delivery. I have so much in my linen closet, will to send you some.

I noticed that after a month or two of using Immediate Effects it starts to peel off when I apply foundation. It's almost as though it has a very short shelf life, which could explain why they push for auto delivery. I refuse auto delivery, because I don't go through it that quickly. I only apply once a day.

If I get you for SS this year, you will get a ton.
