If you use it, do it!

I've started Christmas shopping and planning my tree and decorations.

I have Prime. I love it but it makes it soooooo easy to order stuff it's a little scary.

So this is an issue.  I don't typically pay shipping when I order since I am careful to buy up to or over the amount to get free shipping.  I guess that is my answer.

So it might actually help you buy less. Since you won't have to add things on to get free shipping.

I love prime. It's almost a must out here. not many shopping options close, so many things have to be bought online or a two hour drive away.

Yep, once I finally talked G into getting it, he LOVES it!!!! Tell everybody to get it...

A lot of things are delivered within a couple of hours. Many others same day, even on Sunday...

The thing is you don't have to worry about waiting until you find enough things.  The other day, I needed air filters - couldn't find the size I needed at the store, went to Amazon.  Elusive school supply?  Amazon.  Car part replacement?  Amazon.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

One of my favorite things about Amazon prime is shipping gifts. I have all my family addresses in my address book, and when I need to send a gift, I just order it up and it's on its way. It has saved me a fortune in shipping.

With Amazon Prime, don't you also get the videos and movie, and ebooks?

Or am I thinking of another package?

Amazon Prime saved me a ton of money last Christmas, but I didn't keep it because the amount of shopping I was doing was quite alarming!

I found a bunch of Coach bags at Value Village the other day. $19.99 for a $300 bag. Coach will repair a bag for $55 shipping. They don't care how many bags are in that shipment. My Christmas shopping is done!

I found a little Coach bag at goodwill last week for $4.99. And a suede Tignanello that looked brand new for $4.99.

Amazon ticked me off this week. I ordered something, and what came was from a 3rd party seller and was a horrible fake. I submitted a review warning people and stating that Amazon needs to police 3rd party sellers better, and they rejected my review and refused to post it.

Love Prime. Music, books, videos in addition to the shopping. Be aware of prices tho. Some things are cheaper without the Prime. You just need to be careful about shopping like anywhere you shop.

I get a freee book every month with Prime. I have music that I have downloaded. I also have Fire TV stick and have some apps and games for that.

It's Prime Day. I have been bad. I've bought school supplies, books, organic spices, a sample box, and a few other things. LOL.

LL, was it super good deals?  Am I missing out by not researching and participating?  I sort of saw it as a sales technique to get more business.

Some of it is - others are just meh.  If you know what it should cost, you know the deal.  I got 18oz. or organic onion powder for $7 and 16oz of organic cinnamon for $7, which is a GREAT deal, and I got the first 12 Boxcar Children books in a set for $20.  And I bought 4 LED lightbulbs for $10.  And I ordered a sample box of beauty products for $11.99 and I'm getting the full $11.99 back as a credit towards beauty products.

They have some unusual deals - like if you re-order a product using Alexa, you get a $10 credit.  Use Primebooks17 to get $5 off a real book purchase.

If you need a kindle or want an echo - today is the day to get it.  And if I didn't already own too many color pencils, I'd be ordering today - there are deals on tons of them!

I got the Instant Pot 8 quart for a good deal. Other than that, there was not much I wanted. Except a Roomba. But I still could not justify the cost.

That is me, too.  I want one soooo badly, but cannot justify it, even on sale.

But Alexa and I have become good friends, today.
