It's a muggy start to the day here with a major T-storm expected early evening. I hope there's lots and lots of lightning. Have to work today but only til mid afternoon.
I'm in laundry hell. DD cleaned her room, she is very messy and throws all her clothes on the floor. She cleaned it yesterday and brought me down all the laundry including bedding. I'm on the 4th load. and it all needs to be folded and put away. It is too hot to be outside since I don't have a pool, so there is that!

Massive downpour here about an hour ago and then . . . beautiful sunshine, blue sky, big white puffy clouds, low humidity but no lightning! I'm bummed.

Just got back from our annual bbq and fireworks. Didn't get to watch the fireworks due to little man getting scared because it was so loud.

Jesse didnt, and doesnt, like the loud noise, I taught him to put his hands over his ears, or we would watch from the car.

Heard a commotion on the carpet and when I looked out the window, an opossum was climbing out of the garbage can.
The can is empty and about 3 feet deep, that thing had to be 20-30 pounds, easy!
