Just got back from fishing for perch to
put in our stock ponds. Very very slim
pickings. I think its too hot for them,
and they have gone to deeper water.
Sigh, and so my vacation did not start today. I worked all day! Freakn logies that don't get contractual regulation and federal law. Spent the day putting out fires. I even sent a firmly worded email that if the processes are not followed names will be thrown under the bus. and now I must pack. I am exhausted. And pissed.

First day I've had to just sit and do nothing in awhile. I'm catching up on the boards.
The flood saga continues. Not a peep from our former complex. They either decided to drop the matter or this is the calm before the storm. Either way, it's going to be fun to see what all the flood fiasco sends our way.
DH and I are hoping to be able to buy a home. This flood fiasco really soured us on apartment living.
DD's friend was just dropped off. She is going to the cottage with us. Nice chat with the parents. They are both Vice Principles at schools in town. The Boy and the Girl are already on their way, will arrive before we do. So excited to see them!

My little man is in the beginning of the terrible twos even tho he won't be two until October. I had to put him in time out twice this week. Monday he had a attitude and hit me so to timeout he went. Ratted on himself to mommy and daddy and said "hit Mimi timeout". He told me he loved me again today as he was leaving. Love my grandbabies 💖
