A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
Temp is only 84, the real feel is 109, 90% humidity, no rain in sight.
And I'm sitting here with chills.
It's weird.
Oh well, BBQ is on its way home.

My hubby got a new job and is in agony waiting for the official offer letter so he can put in his notice. He's already submitted all his on-boarding paperwork, but no offer letter until his background check completes.

That is always a problem but employers understand. Congrats on the new job!

We enjoyed an amazing weekend. First, I visited my mom in Minnesota and my sister of course. We had a great time together.
DH cut his arm while I was in Minnesota. He required 7 widely spaced stitches to put his arm back together. He said it was my fault. I was gone, so it was my fault. His doctor, the nurse and our DD set the record straight for me. Bwahahaha He is so silly sometimes.
Anyway, I came home and then we (DD and kids too) went to the center of the eclipse yesterday. It was amazing! I could never have imagined how awesome a 100% totality can be. We are so glad we all got to enjoy a historic event together. We had a large party at DH's cousin's farm. Lots of food, fun and laughter. The traffic going home was awful. We saw license plates from Texas to Canada. Huge crowds everywhere along the center path of the eclipse. And, of course, they all left at the same time.
Today I am bushed. Had to take DH back to the doctor for a dressing change first thing this morning. Next one is on Friday. The man is lucky he has an arm... It looks nasty, but infection free. Lets keep it that way DH!
I get a two day break and then the rush starts all over again. All the grand's will be here this weekend. Gotta enjoy what's left of summer!
Hope everyone is having an awesome Tuesday!

Czechie!
Glad he is ok!
Define "okay".
He's lucky I haven't killed him yet. I'm afraid I will die from the stress of being married to a klutz.
You know what? He had a major accident within the first 7 weeks of our marriage. He's had a semi-major accident once or twice a year ever since.
And he says life is an adventure with ME!
