A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.
I heard this talk radio host say that he insisted that his children made their beds before leaving their bedrooms so that they could say they started their day by accomplishing something. It's a good thing I always make my bed, otherwise some days I'd never accomplish anything.
I'm two weeks behind on ironing, one week behind on computer work, need to finish building a cat tree for DD's cats, need to call insurance of medical bills that they haven't paid, and of course, the house always needs to be cleaned. But first, allergy shots and physical therapy appointment. Life is Good!

That was part of a graduation speech given by an Admiral this year.

Yes. Karl. Wondering how he and his family are as well.

I rolled out of my hotel in Springfield, MO at 5:30am.
Hit rush hour and construction in Tulsa, but it only cost me about 10 minutes.
Weather was good, and traffic wasn't bad.
I got home at 12:55pm. All in one piece.
I hope Wayne won't mind that Kroger deli pizza that I will dress up with some peppers and black olives, for dinner tonight.
(Sunday, the 3 hour hop from Y-town to Columbus. Yesterday, the 11 hour drive from Columbus to Springfield. Today, the 7 1/2 hour hop from Springfield to Fort Worth.)
Yeehaw! I'm cooked!
Looking at my trip counter, this was one of my shorter crazy road trips. I only drove 2905 miles this time around.
I must be getting old.
More details tomorrow in the Break Room. What a trip. Too tired to fill you in right now...but, I will.
Carry on, Good Geeks.
I'm watching The Tennis....and going up to see Baby Cate with some new toys, after dinner.
I'm glad you had a safe trip and can now relax fwm. I too hope all our Texas geeks are ok and karl too! My daughters friend from college house was flooded and her almost 9 months pregnant.
I'm planning on sending them a gift card from either Lowe's or Walmart to help her get supplies to replace items that was destroyed or whatever they could use it. I wonder how soon they could get mail
