Busy day today. Everyone in the office is s trying to get things done to clear their schedules for the long holiday weekend. I put in 12 hours yesterday and probably will again tomorrow.

I ordered a box of various decaf coffees for DH for the keurig and there were a few "flavored" ones that he doesn't care for. This morning I had a pumpkin spice flavored coffee! The smell was heavenly!

She's been in our department a year. Calls out every chance she gets. Nosy as f----. She claims to be a strong Christian but lies about everything. She lied about her credentials. I have the same certification and there is no way she can perform that badly if she has passed that test. She's having some type of neurological issue. Just took 7 weeks off for a headache. She had no PDOs because she abuses them but since she had a Dr's note she was able to stay put but with no benefits. BUT before she went out on sick leave a coworker overheard her trying to add short term disability to her benefits. (no can do till open enrollment in November} Thennnn, Monday evening coworker saw her looking at FMLA paperwork on the hospital internet. She couldn't take FMLA when she just took the summer off because she hadn't been here a year. She came back on the last possible day before getting terminated. She hit her one year last week. She won't talk about why she was out yet sticks her nose in everyone else's business when they have a day off.
I was her main preceptor and every time she screws something up she says "SB never told me" "SB told me to do it that way". Lies. Last night she screwed something up, said she didn't know. Lie, two other people that trained with her said I've told them more than once. Today I told her and someone else not to do something. 5 minutes later she did it. Said I didn't tell her. Lie. She makes so many mistakes and treats people like the hired help. She wants to be in charge. One coworker worked with her at another hospital and said all she did was sit at the desk and pretend to do paperwork.
My guess is that she will add short term disability this fall and then have another headache around the holidays so she can just chill out and keep her job.
I think she drinks.
She also talks in baby talk like we think it's cute. She has a 5 year old grandson that lives with her so I guess she talks to him like that.
Andddd.... she doesn't speak proper English so I'm guessing the kid isn't very articulate either.
