Great news, Trudy!

We have a one o'clock appointment with
the JP to start eviction proceedings to
get rid of the nasty, non-paying renter.

She's doing great, Lindley! Thank you for asking!

She's 3 months old today.

Since the middle of July, she's been sleeping through the night. She's goes to bed at 8:30, and wakes up at 7:30 the next morning.

What an angel. Very happy and mellow.smile

They should probably stop at one. They will never have such an easy baby, again.biggrin

Morning All! I have to go by Employee health in a bit to turn in my return to work and I'm going back to work tomorrow!
Of course I won't be surprised if we are closed Friday for the hurricane.
Looks like it's going to go right up the middle of the state.
We are ready. We have a bunker in the garage lol

She sounds like a sweetheart. I agree that the 2nd one might be a pistol. My oldest granddaughter was so sweet and easy going and their 2nd one is a curly, redheaded little pistol 💖

Enjoy snuggling sweet little cate. They grow up so fast.

Morning.

Woke up at 3 this morning, unable to go back to sleep so I piddled around in my room, Caitlyn came in and took a shower, no hot water at their place right now, made her breakfasf, cleaned the kitchen, took off the trash, had breakfast, and now I'm back home, ready for a nap.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Trudy I'm feeling pretty good. I get tired easy but I sit at a desk so I'll be good. I will keep my nausea meds in my purse just in case.
22 lbs down in 3 wks. 9 from the week pre op and 13 since surgery two weeks Ago
So down 22 in 3 weeks! I'm excited.

Stay safe, Mary! Congrats on the weight loss!

Yay for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

Ran over to Home Depot and bought a new washer & dryer. The sensor for the water that comes in at the rinse cycle is out. I would have it repaired, but it's 10 years old so I figured I'll just a new set. We're going with the Samsung this time to save a couple hundred dollars. It won't be delivered until October. I can still use the old ones, I just have to jump up and turn the water valve off after it's done rinsing so it will advance to the spin cycle.

Did you get the HE type. I am considering the Samsung too. Will want to hear how you like them.

Yes, HE. I've been using HE for 10 years with the LG and it uses so much less detergent. Here is the one I got. I also bought the matching dryer.

Yay for new appliances!

Yay for weight loss!

Yay for babies!

Yay for vacations!

Took a nap. It didn't really help.

There is thunder all around us and it's incredibly hot and stuffy.

I need a week of Mondays. DH's off days are Sunday and Monday and there's not enough hours in Monday to get everything done.

My insurance agent is irritating me. I've left quite a few messages and he won't call back. My insurance policy is messed up and is costing nearly $100 more because of all the errors. Wanted to go down to his office and just sit until he showed up yesterday but it was a holiday. He's not always in the office and it's nearly impossible to catch him on the phone. This isn't new behavior for him but he's never been this bad. I want my insurance fixed then when all is said and done with the apartment complex re the flood, I'm getting a new agent ... one that wants my business.

OMG what a deal!  mine are 8 years old, GE.  And before the extra stabilizers were incorporated so I still have balance issues with the washer.  Thinking....

Chef I feel for you on having to deal with everything you have had to deal with. Can you just call the insurance company directly?  Bypassing the agent?

I think ya'll should rename this thread the "yay" thread! My "yay" today was beating the massive thunder storm headed in from the west. Woohoo. I was in the apartment about two minutes when the sky opened up and poured buckets!

A training day that was tiring. But, the trainer said we all did well. One of the girls who started with us and went through orientation and training all last week, never showed today! I hope she's okay but I'm guessing she just couldn't hack it or found another job. I overslept this morning thinking I was going to the branch for training rather than to the main office an hour away. I ran around like a chicken without my head trying to get ready and out the door to get there on time. I made it with five minutes to spare! Whew! Threw my whole day off though. lol

Still raining here. That's my story!

I don't know if the company itself can sort it out. I never thought to try that. It's messed up pretty bad.

I'm torn though. I love my insurance company. My agent leaves a lot to be desired. I'm hoping to scoot by until we buy a home then find an agent near our home.

I also need to cancel the renter's insurance but I don't know if that'd be wise to do with the situation with the complex still pending and the claim still active.

I'm bad. We have two different families in FL. I've reached out to one of them first hoping they will claim our house leaving the others to go to my BIL in NC. I cannot stand those people. I'll take them in if I have to, but I'd rather fill up with the house with the others!

Don't cancel it, yet.

Call the Company and ask for a few local agents that represent the Company.

The Co. will not be able to change your policy.  Just the agent.

Feel free to PM me any questions.

Only question I'd have for you is if you could slap my agent. But, that'd have the potential to land you in trouble and I wouldn't want that.
