Here, the wind has changed directions, and it is more sustained than we had the whole time.
Rain has stopped, all warnings were lifted before they expired.

I'm in south Georgia and we made it fine. Early reports had Irma as a category 1 going over us...I'm north of Tallahassee about an hour. The eye was supposed to go right over us but it broke apart pretty good after landfall in Florida. We still got lots of wind/rain and there are still power outages in our area but we had no damage, just lots of debris in the yard, and were without power for less than 24 hours. My coworker lives two miles from me and she hasn't had power since early Monday morning.
LL, my niece goes to Georgia Southern too. She was able to come home Thursday. Not sure when she'll go back. She found out today that her class on Thursday was cancelled so her next class is Monday. I'm sure she'll stay until Sunday,
