Good morning! Had a hard time getting to sleep last night. Little man is grumpy this morning, think a molar is coming. Poor baby. Cloudy and rainy here, which is good since we really need the rain.

Is that group ringing English hand bells?
JoJo will LOVE it. I ring with a group at
Church - we "perform" at least once a
month.

Good morning!

Sure wish I had learned the bells. Sounds like fun for your dd, LL.

Very crisp here this morning. Temp said 38 degrees at 6:30. Brrr. Had an extra quilt on the bed last night. Definite snuggle weather.

Now the question of the day, what should I make for snacking to take to my sisters?

Yes, it is!  Today was the first day.  Our school has it as a club for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades.  Which means she has to be to school 30 minutes early one day a week.  Too early!  But she's really excited.

Tidbits from an experienced (10 years) ringer:
1. Don't wear anything metal on her top, like
sequins or decorations - they could scratch the
bells, and that becomes expensive. It could
also make a sound she doesn't want to hear.
Also, no long necklaces. If she does want to
wear a necklace on the day of practice, put
the long part down her back, out of the way.

2. Wear a thick top, if at all possible/reasonable.
When JoJo "damps" the bell (stops the sound),
it is damped against the chest, and she could
wind up with some sore boobies. Sweat shirts
are good for this.

Hope she has a wonderful time!!!

She has to wear her uniform.  But the necklace thing is good to know.

OH! These sound wonderful! Thank you! I'm going to ask my sister about making this at her house. I have to drive almost 3 hours to get there, so need something for the travel.

I am almost finished with the second batch of chex mix. Easy to take along and all my sisters love it.

I just bought a new mop! I've needed one for a while, but kept putting it off.

How boring is my life when I get excited over a new mop?

Lol Lily. It's the little things that make us happy.
I was off again today. Surgery numbers are down so we are getting called out. Thank goodness I have plenty of pdos to cover me.
Took kitty for a fructose check. All is good.
I bought a white wicker chest at goodwill Sunday for $19. It was from pier1. In great shape. I'm spray painting it brown. 3 cans so far. I have to get 2 more. I forgot a before pic but will post the final results when done.
Church group meeting at chick fil a tonight. Yum!

Today marks 1 week and 1 day since DS fractured his foot and 1 week since I got side-swiped and my truck broke down in one day. I'm hoping today's journey to and from Bible study is less eventful.

DS got a walking cast on Monday. He's happy to be mobile again. He chose yellow for the color of his cast. Cast comes off on the 30th.

Guess who's babysitting carpet layers again?

Project Hosts were here today, but they left. And I'm not leaving the president's office standing wide open. I was told I didn't have to stay for the whole thing, but I can't in good conscious leave with that open.

Yellow is a good choice.

It's true, what doesnt kill us, makes us stronger.

The carpet guys were good. I told them I had to stay until that door could close. So they made sure to put that area ahead of others. I know the owner, I'll have to call him and tell him what a good job they did.

Rolling along isn't a bad thing. lol I wish mine would just roll. But, things are good, for the most part. Apartment hunting right now. Trying to find one I can be happy in until I die or get put in a nursing home because I'm drooling or something! Where I'm at now isn't the best for someone aging, albeit slowly! biggrin Other than that, life is good. Working too much though! hahaha

Are you still in the former church place? Was that what it was? I haven't talked to you much since you moved back from the east coast.

Yep, I'm still in the former church place. As excited as I was about moving in here, I quickly learned that it wasn't so pleasant or nice after all. lol Since I don't want to make another move after moving from here, I'm taking my time trying to find just the right fit for me. I think I may have finally found it. I'll go Monday to start the paperwork for the one I want.
