I called in sick today. I just feel so run down. I went to bed at 5 yesterday, got up for about 30 minutes at 7:30 and went back to bed. Then, I got winded getting dressed this morning.

Not sure if I'm starting to get sick or if it's just allergies but for the last week I've been sneezing a LOT and sleeping way later than I ever do. Plus I get stuffy and then not. UGH! And some how a fly has gotten in here and it is insisting on driving past my face time and time again. *I will get you, my pretty!* [insert evil laugh]
LL, go see your doctor. Being tired is one thing, getting winded getting dressed is not a good sign.

So I picked DD up from school. She is getting her bottom braces on today. The office lady knows H and went on and on about her and what a great kid she is. Then she exclaims that she had something to give DD. Apparently DD found $100 bill last June in the hallway and turned it into the office. No one has claimed it so they gave DD the money today. She immediately turned to me and handed me the envelope knowing I would tell her we are putting it in the bank. LOL I told her that will go toward her 8th grade trip to DC.

I need some ideas. We finished painting the bathroom, Aaron did the lion's share. I want to do something in these shelves to give it some pizazz.
I thought about hot gluing these on the edge but I think they'll pop off too easy.
As you can see, the bathroom is a nice 70s mint green. I like it, really. Has that retro vibe to it.
I've thought about doing a stencil in the shelves. Then I thought about doing a gradient in them. I've thought about painting the edges a fun color.
Ideas?
Here's the catch, next Summer we are replacing all the floors and when that happens, all that tile is coming off, as well. So I don't want to spend a lot of time and money on it, I just want it to look good til then.

Kitty has a huge abcess on his head. May have to get it lanced.
Super busy at work learning my secondary position. Since the dept head is gone I'm hoping to weasel my way into this job for good.

Then paint the back white, when totally dry use masking tape and tape off diagonal stripes and paint the blue. Pull off the tape and viola!
Or use stencils or paint stamps.
I like the idea of a pattern. Chevron, maybe?

Knowing I was re-doing the bathroom, I wouldn't be putting much work into it. Some pretty colored baskets, and a few cute accents and towels. A clear jar with some colored soaps, etc.

Your temp went down? This information along with the fatigue and getting winded makes me think iron and potassium are down.
Red meat, dark, leafy greens, and bananas would help.
I still think you should go to the doctor.

Good. Low iron can be debilitating if left unattended. Are you anemic? I am. I get the "you need blood" threat from almost every doctor now.
The potassium thing is really dangerous, so make sure they check that.
