Just got back from picking up what I forgot at the grocery store yesterday. Cool and windy today.
Last night a truck hit a hayride in the next county over. Six were taken to the hospital, two by helicopter. One person is in critical condition. I'm guessing alcohol was involved.
I am meeting my nephew at a local music store soon. DD wants and acoustic guitar and I am going to get one for Christmas. Nephew is going to help educate me and pick one out.

So I wanted to try out a new church this morning, it's a Presbyterian church. Good thing I read a little bit about them because their teachings don't jive with me. Is anyone here a Presbyterian? Just curious

What is it that you don't like? Just curious, I know nothing about Presbyterians.
I had gotten my son an acoustical guitar when he was like 8 or 9. He loved it. Took lessons for about a year.
SB, that is so sad about the hayride.
I am sore from my ankles to my ears. All this packing and moving, up and down stairs carrying box after box. UGH! Remind me never again to move or if I do, to make it a first floor unit, not second.
It was raining this morning but then stopped mid-morning. Supposed to be an all-day rain and they warned about flooding but so far having seen rain in about three hours. I was hoping for a good soaker while I was doing more packing and sorting.
Oh dear God, that triangle solo Geico commercial was just on. Is that not THE most ANNOYING commercial of all time!
The real feel temp is 27. The actual temp is 39. It feels and looks like could snow at any second.
Moving both sucks and it's exciting.
SB, was the hay ride on the road? It's sad so many were hurt. I don't know why people do hay rides on roads.
I had an acoustic guitar. A Martin. It was a smaller version of my grandfather's Gibson. I never really learned a song but I could strum along and can hammer. My only advice is stock up on band aids and never prop it against anything.
I don't know anything about the doctrine of the Presbyterian.

Ok guitar bought. It is a used one but excellent condition. DN thought it played nicely and good quality for someone starting out. I also got a case. Can't pick it up for another week. They have to hold on things they buy used for a certain amount of time in case they were stolen. Seems reasonable and I don't need it until Christmas.

They are ruling it homocide. He was on Shark Tank a few years ago and created an app that was gaining popularity. I don't know. SIL said he was $3M in debt and recently lost his house. She thinks it was a mob hit. He had 4 children.

I did find that his house was in foreclosure. A 8,223 square foot house. Tiny home. LOL

The Presbyterians experienced a split among their churches over the progressive views of some of the Presbytery. You just have to figure out which one yours is.
PCA Presbyterian Church in America - Conservative Presbyterians with more biblical views that you are likely more in agreement with.
PCUSA - Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) - very liberal, including homosexuals and women as pastors, doesn't believe the Bible is inerrant, etc.
Just dropped the president at the plant and picked up my car. He had me drive his car since it's a company vehicle. Man, that's a nice car. So many bells and whistles took me a good 2 minutes to find the windshield wipers lol
The drive home wasn't weird at all. I got him talking about a couple projects, I learned a lot. One on one quality time with the president is never a bad thing.
