Bad storm overnight. High winds and rain. I hear there are trees down all over the roads. More than half my town is without power. Luckily I do have power. No school though so am working from home today.
Good morning!
ETA can't spell this early in the morning.

It's really cold here today! It's too early in the season to be this cold. Winter is not going to be pleasant. I guess the bright side is that more bugs will die.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

See? That's what I mean about cold temps, at least the bugs die!

It is cold, I agree. I also agree that this may be a rough winter.
Glad you still have power, IKWTDS, and that ya'll are safe.
*sigh* I've been awake since 4. I'm going to be useless today.

Just looked at the extended forecast, well be back in the 70s by Thursday.

Lots of wind here and continuing. A little over an inch of rain in last 24 hours. It was a good soaker for the plants! We needed it with an unusually dry August and September. It's cool, but the wind makes it feel cold. I had to swerve to avoid a tree branch that fell on the road. Ugh.
Good morning, everyone! It's a yucky start to the day here. It's 47* with a real feel of 34*. The wind is whipping BIG TIME! It was blowing so hard not long ago, all the leaves from the trees were caught in a whirlpool of air swirling around right outside my kitchen window. Looked pretty ominous. It rained pretty steadily for most of the night but was stopped by the time I awoke around 7'ish.
I'm hoping the wind subsides a bit so I can get some more stuff moved. I spent most of the day yesterday packing up more boxes. Since I'm now out of boxes, I have to get these moved and unpacked so I can do more. hahaha UGH! At least the body isn't as achy as it was the other day. I'll be so glad when this is over and done with.
My body was so achy yesterday from painting then at #1's basketball game they announced that parents would play against the kids. I thought, no friggin way, but the boys were depending on me so I did it.
I was wearing fashion slip-on sneaks so I was good. And I made our only basket. (We only played a few minutes). And I was good on defense, stopped anyone else from scoring. Who knew? The ref said he never would have guessed it. The boys were cheering. My parents were laughing. DH just watched.
Don't you love ambush parent participation! Sounds like fun.

Oh Boy, some neighborhoods still don't have power and have wires lying on the street. If not repaired in the next few hours My 'hood will be flooded with ToTers tomorrow. I am not prepared for that! Candy wise.

This is an emergency. You need to get more candy, chips, toys, and ice cubes.
