I have one. Trudy's gg was kind enough to send me an extra cookbook he bought. I'll admit, I don't use the fryer much. It seems awfully needy, having to shake it all the time and what not, and also seems to take longer to cook things which never quite crisp up.
I watched a video about one, they made chicken wings and fries.
It took 30 minutes to make the fries, 22 minutes to do the chicken.
It's faster in the oven.
The small amounts is another problem.
It'd take hours to make enough fries for my family.

I like mine but I don't use it often enough. It does not save time but it does save fat and calories. I know I don't use it to its full potential either. I don't use processed foods as much with it, I do more from scratch.
Potatoes from scratch are good with one teaspoon of vegetable oil. Takes about 10 minutes depending on how thin you slice them.
Chicken is good but not with a flour coating. Bread crumbs are better. I am testing a new recipe tomorrow with it, copy cat chick fil a chicken sandwiches.

Chicken was great. The breading could have been a little crisper, the second batch I did turned out better since I cooked it for 2 minutes more in the second stage on each side. Juicy. I had to adjust the recipe a little. I did not have powdered sugar or celery seed. I did put 1 tbsp of sugar in the blender to get it finer. And I used parchment paper under it and did not put it directly on the basket.
