This sweet orange tabby has been hanging around for the past few weeks. We started feeding him a few days ago and are falling in love with him. We are thinking about keeping him once we make sure he isn't just missing from someone's house. He isn't fixed (yet) but is very comfortable around us as well as other cats. He keeps sneaking in the house and is comfortable just hanging around. So that being said.... we are trying to find the perfect name.
I love Marmalade too. We’re adopting a kitten too. My application Got approved. I’m waiting to hear from the foster so we can get her. I’m thinking the dogs will take better to a kitten mainly the Chihuahua. Her name is Emily but I’m thinking Fiona or Bridget Not meaning to hijack!
I love your orange boy he looks like a doll💙😺

I like Fiona. My daughter's name is Bridgette, lol. I've met dogs named Bridget.
A flock of flirting flamingos is pure, passionate, pink pandemonium-a frenetic flamingle-mangle-a discordant discotheque of delirious dancing, flamboyant feathers, and flamingo lingo.

LOL, FNW! My brother was sitting with his daughters inlaws and the grandmother explained how she kept feeding a cat. Then dragged it inside. I was crying, laughing.
We had a few cats (outside) in So. Cal which "mysteriously" found new homes up the street. No doubt they were enticed with better (canned) food. Cats know no loyalty except to themselves. LOL

I consider outdoor cats to belong to the neighborhood. Unless they have the opportunity to sleep on your chest, they only see you as a food deliverer.

Yeah, probably. So sad. I really don't know what I would do if this happened, but I know for damn sure, I would not drop them off...breaks me heart, just sitting here looking at Dex and Deb...

The problem is we have other cats. I just read average life expectancy after diagnosis is 5 years. I can't afford another sick cat. Vet said he's probably 7 or 8 years old. He's missing a lot of teeth. When we got home he took off down the street. Maybe he will make it easy on us and not come back. If he does we will have to drop him off at the shelter. We are broken hearted.
Aww, poor kitty. I truly understand about not
wanting to have him near your other cats, and
giving him to the shelter.
My outdoor cat PrettyKitty is at LEAST 10 years
old (he/she showed up on my porch in 2008),
but she doesn't appear to have any health problems.
Every morning, she gets the remainder of what
Pepper, my 23 y/o indoor cat doesn't eat, so she's
pretty happy. She had 30+ acres to chase mice,
moles, snakes, and gophers, plus lots of available
water. And perch, if she wants to go fishing!
