Depends on which station you watch. Anywhere from a dusting to 4 inches. But it's sticking cause it's been cold the last 2 days and the ground is cold. Back roads and mountain roads are beginning to deteriorate. The mountain roads is what will close our schools.

It is pretty, though.

It is a pretty dress. Sorry you had to pay full price apparently. I hate when that happens though. I'd be going back with the receipt and having a word or two with the manager.

I'm actually looking forward to the snow tomorrow. I'm ready for winter and want to settle in with all the comforts the season brings. I can make all my favorite comfort foods. ;)

San Antonio (and Sutherland Springs) had SNOW
yesterday! Enough to make snowmen, and snow
angels, and have snowball fights! It was great!
However, south Texans do NOT know how to
drive in snow (or any other type of precipitation).
There was an 18-vehicle pile-up on one of the
loops - fortunately, no injuries were reported.
I bet it was black ice, rather than the snow, that
caused the pile-up.

Schools started two hours late; by that time,
most of the snow had disappeared. Fun while
it lasted.

It is a nice dress. That's a relief!

We're expecting 1-3 inches by the end of tomorrow. #2 is going to be on TV this evening. The ABC7 news does these "lunchbox weather" segments where their meteorologists go out to schools and talk to the kids about weather. Their school is so large it's just going to involve the 4th graders. Of all the 4th graders, #2 was chosen to ask an "on air" question which the meteorologists at the station will answer. I just drove past the school on the way home from my dentist appt. and the truck was there. So excited!!!!!!!!!

I thought about that. But it's 3 layers and I already paid $55 to hem it. I'm not sure it's worth another $50 to shorten it again.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Slick and dangerous road conditions are possible, especially on elevated bridges and overpasses. Road conditions are expected to deteriorate through the day and into

the evening. Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times.

Bad news here.

While my Mom and Trudy had a great time on their cruise...when they got back, Trudy noticed that her cat Dora, was bleeding from the mouth.

She took her to the Vet. Cancerous tumor, under her tongue. No point in operating. It would have come back.

Trudy had to put Dora down. cry

Dora's brother Boots, is walking around the house, crying for his sister.

What a bummer.

But Dora hadn't been in the best of heath, for a while now.

She was diabetic. And, once she went on the Rx food, she went from 20 pounds, to about 9 pounds.

She did pretty well, for many years.

Yesterday, she was down to 6 pounds.

I guess the cancer, was eating her up.

Trudy made the right decision.

I'm sure it broke her heart, to put her to sleep. But, there was no point in putting poor Dora, through any more pain.

I just hope Boots stops missing her, soon.

He's breaking everyone's hearts, with his crying. cry
