sorry, I don’t have a cute name for today. I saw there was no daily thread for me to vent on.....so here it is!
why oh why is it too much to ask for people to do their jobs correctly?!? I am getting so frustrated in the fact that I cannot trust the data I have been provided. I spent most of yesterday fixing stuff before I could use it. And today I have discovered yet another thing wrong. I stupidly trusted the information I was given and now I have to not only fix what I did using the wrong numbers but also fix the source data. I really don’t like to say this, but I hope the person that did this gets fired. It wasn’t an honest mistake, it was she‘s too lazy to make sure her work is correct mistake.

Vent over.....for now
how is everyone else’s Tuesday?
I hear that! I am having the same issue. Every single day I am provided spreadsheets that have wrong or missing information. These particular analysts are not doing cross checks on their work.
Working from home. It was snowing this morning and now freezing rain, when temps take a nose dive later the roads will freeze. 10 miles south of me roads are fine.

Good afternoon everyone! It's a dreary, grey day here. The wind is blowing too. Very chilly.
I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy, safe New Year's Eve. I'm going to be taking a break from this board. It's time given another conversation on a different thread. Anyway, enjoy the holiday with family and friends. Hugs to you all.

This is from the Skinny Taste website. I'm making a double recipe.
My one addition is a pound of thinly sliced Andouille sausage. My family loves the added meat.
Shrimp Creole Adapted from Deep South Dish Gina’s Skinny Recipes Servings: 4 • Serving Size: 1/4th • Points +: 5 pts • Smart Points: 1 Calories: 211.9 • Fat: 4.6 g • Carb: 17.6 g • Fiber: 4.2 g • Sugar: 7.8 g • Protein: 25.8 g
Ingredients:
2 tsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, minced
14-ounce can of diced tomatoes
8 oz tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp Cajun Seasoning such as Slap Your Mama (more or less to taste)
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp of all purpose flour (1 tsp corn starch for gluten-free)
2 tbsp water
1 lb of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp hot sauce, to taste
1 medium scallion, sliced
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
salt to taste
Directions:
In a large skillet heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, garlic and celery and saute until tender. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, cayenne pepper, cajun spice, bay leaf and bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer 20-30 minutes.
Make a slurry of the flour and water and stir into the tomato mixture. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Lightly season the shrimp with the Cajun seasoning and add immediately to the tomato mixture. Add Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce; stir together. Cook for another 5 to 6 minutes, or until shrimp is opaque and cooked through, adjust salt if needed.
Add chopped green onion and parsley and serve.

Not much happening around here, it's cold and damp, just doing the daily grind waiting for Christmas.

Our Applebees shut down. The food was ok. Service was HORRIBLE! We would go about once a year to give them another chance. Always left pissed off vowing to never return.

It depends on the Applebees. Some are great, others suck.
