Today is my dad’s 70th birthday. Mom decided we are having a surprise party for him. So we are scurrying around trying to get everything done while not attracting attention. Wrapping presents now. Running to the store in a bit. Dinner reservations are at 5.....so I better get moving

Happy Birthday to your dad, DG! Today is also my oldest DD's birthday. She is not handling turning 37 very well, lol.
Running start to our day as well here. Lots of laundry to get done and a ton of gifts to wrap, along with the 3 year old underfoot. Hmm, I should probably dress him for the day.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
And just when I thought I would skate through the next 6 years with no issues with the ex, he is now demanding to have DD on Christmas. This is not his year. I am no longer responding to his angry emails. My guess is he mistakenly assumed this was his year and made plans and is taking his anger out on me, typical.
Oh! And he said he has no copy of the parenting plan because he gave me his copy. LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

He in no way gave me his copy. and he can always go to Family Court and get another copy if he can't find his rather than blaming me. I choose to not respond.

I now have six large Christmas bags stuffed with wrapped Christmas presents.
Not an easy job with all the kiddo's here... DH watched (he napped) them all in the living room. Bwahahaha. The oldest DGD did all the work with the kids. She's such a good kid!

It takes so much of me to suck up the lies he tells DD. I figure one day she will know the accurate stuff. She is smart enough. Hate that she is going through this. But thanks. Nothing more I can do but make it the best I can.
