DD is due home around 10 and then we will do gifts. Hopefully the snow will be done and we can get the driveway cleared of snow and drive to my brother's.

We've already opened gifts! #2 was up until midnight with an upset stomach, and #1 was up from 1:30 am to 3:30 am with croup, so this should be an interesting day. #2 got us up at 6:30 am and I made him wait until 7 to wake his brother up....#1 was disappointed that he didn't get many games but he didn't want any and the ones he did want he got. So............we'll go to grandma's later where they have a ton of presents for them to open.

Yes, the boys seem better. Usually when they reach the croup stage, that's the worst and it gets better. So far that seems to be the case now, too. I think #2 ate too much at dinner and/or was excited about Christmas. He's fine today and enjoying his nerf guns and minecraft video game. We just finished a big breakfast and I'm drinking mimosas and having Alexa play Christmas music.
exdh refused to bring DD home. DS went and got her. He was supposed to have her back last night but asked if he could keep her overnight and drop her off at 9. Now we will be late all day. I am livid. He just lost and special favors and such.

So, I got a piano for Christmas (I've been taking lessons).
I've just been trying to learn one song so far, ONE, bare necessities from the jungle book. And I really suck at it! I've been practicing non stop for days and can barely get the first line right! Sigh. A concert pianist I am not lol

I took a few years of piano lessons when DH & I were dating and first married. Sort of stopped after the boys came along (it's hard to practice with little fingers interfering). The last week or two I've been starting it again. It has been fun! I suck, but I still enjoy it.

DH and I are home again. We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas yesterday with all of us together at DS's. Now we need rest, first the house has to warm up. It was 58 degrees in here when we got home! It is only 3 degrees outside, so I am shivering. I can't believe DH turned the furnace down that low.

Faith isn't something that keeps bad things from happening. Faith is what helps us get through bad things when they do happen.
Not an official engagement, but it was confirmed by both Jesse and Abigail that they are moving toward marriage. They both say they want a long engagement, she wants to get at least 2 years of college under her belt first, Jesse wants 2 years of saving first.
As for the doilies, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, but they are very pretty.
