Why do people think that someone having a cell phone means you are at their beck and call? Yesterday, I was out with friends and family and was not answering my phone or texts. So, my friend texted my husband to find out why I wasn't responding. Ummm......because I'M BUSY.
He said she asked him why I even have a cell phone. He told her it's for MY convenience, not everyone else's. Geez.

Remember the days when all we had were landlines at home or work? Remember those things attached to the phone called an answering machine?
Remember the days when answering machines didn't exist and people actually had to call back at a more convenient time, like after working hours? Those days were great, weren't they? hahaha Do you miss them? It was a time when we didn't need to be "connected" 24/7 to the outside world.
She's not the only one. People do it all the time. They will text me and if I don't respond, they will hunt me down. Geez, people - the world is not ending.
Same people that would get all offended if you were screening calls in the old days or not answering the phone (landlines I am referring) at times when you are busy or don't feel like talking.

I put a pink princess phone in DD13's room when she was little. All her friends would think it was a toy and my phone would continuously be off the hook!

We still have that phone! You know you can still use them on landlines? Just plug it in.
My mom thinks she has to answer every text and call immediately, and that everyone else does, too.
She will call my cell, if I don't answer by the third ring, she hangs up and immediately calls the landline, if I haven't answered that by the third ring, she calls my cell again immediately. If I still haven't answered, cause heaven forbid I have nice relaxing BM, she starts calling one of the boys!

If someone pesters me and keeps calling I’ll like never answer their calls again I also rarely answer the phone. I met all calls go to voicemail. Why do people think they have to know where we are? Have an emergency? That’s what 911 is for lol
