I bought those gloves from the link.  Ugh!  Fail!  I mean it is really cold here but I thought they'd work!  Back to looking!  I wore them yesterday.  Freezing!

You need mittens. Mittens are warmer than gloves.

If you are not opposed to suede/fur, these are absolutely amazing as long as they don't get too wet. Or you can waterproof them.  I only felt a slight chill during all these around zero temps.

Really? They had such great reviews. How are you supposed to find good gloves if people LIE???

When temps are really low I use my ski mittens. My hands never get cold in those. DH uses those hand warmer packets.

That's what I was going to suggest, a good pair of ski mittens or gloves. I love mine. I can ski all day and not have my hands get cold at all.

I don't know why, but the ski gloves I have been buying for the boys are not waterproof and are soaking wet when they come in. I have bought 3-4 different kinds and they are all the same. My gloves and mittens are 20 years old probably. Did they start making them out of cheap materials or something? I don't get it.

Seriously. LL Bean failed. The North Face failed before the current purchase failed. I sent the North Face back.

Right? What should be good quality are failing. It seems they are using new materials that make them less bulky but with the loss of bulk comes loss of ability to keep hands warm and dry.

I may go see my old buddies at a certain shop. See what they have.
