Well, I'm still at home, but should be able to get out of here by 11 or so. The temps will be above freezing by then, so hopefully, the ice on the roads will melt quickly.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Our road never got treated but I managed to get out and back in the office. It's supposed to reach 40 today so hopefully it will all be melted by the time I get home.
Well, it's a beautifully sunny day here. Unfortunately it's still freakin cold and now windy! I hate the wind. Working around the apartment today and have to work tonight. Roads here are finally cleared. The parking lot and sidewalks at the apartment . . . not so much. Slackers!
Happily, the roads never got terrible, here. Anywhere the sun touched, melted and dried. The wind speeded up the process.
Schools are out again today because of mountain roads and heat issues.
Hope all y'all thaw out quickly.

Snow is melting Yay! I haven't been out of the house since last Friday. Tomorrow I'm going to lunch with a friend and going to antique stores. Can't wait.

This made me laugh yesterday. Receptionist brought a crockpot of soup to the office
Me: what kind of soup is it?
Receptionist: it's zuppa!
Me: I see that, what kind?
Receptionist: zuppa
Me: you do realize zuppa is just Italian for "soup" ....
