Stay safe you guys! Just pouring rain here. Been pouring for hours. I'm grateful it's not freezing as I have to take DGD to an appointment a couple hours away.
FWM, Bummer about Rafa, right? And Djokovic is out too. Looks like Fed will be the Aussie winner this year. There are some awesome "newbies" to the scene though. The Korean player who took out Novak is really quite good.

I'm not ready to hand the trophy to Roger just yet.
Cilic was playing fantastic. He might have beat Rafa, even without the injury.
I'd love to see Tennys Sandgren go farther.
I think any one of the guys who are left, could win it.
Might be nice to have someone different, for a change.
It rained on and off all night, but the sun is out this morning.
Everyone have a safe and productive Tuesday.

Sometimes spam makes me laugh. I keep getting these emails about foreclosure. And how he is “seeing your name on the foreclosure list”. Here is what makes me laugh A) I don’t own property, so there is nothing to be foreclosed on. And B) that email is one I use for lists and offers and stuff....it doesn’t even have my real name associated with it.
"You're warranty on your car is about up. I can extend that for you."
Ever play the "you mean you're giving me a car??" Response to that?

So blessing in disguise. DD texted me at 3 ( I was in a meeting) and said she needed a ride at 5 from school. Drama Club today, we didn't know she had it today. Anyway I left work at 3:45 and the temps had still not risen to the 50's as predicted, in fact it was 34 and raining. By the time I got close to home the temps were at or below freezing and traffic was slowing and I heard about accidents and such. We are home safe. So glad I left early. Treacherous out there as it will be tomorrow morning.
I feel for Sonny. He is slipping and sliding on the walkway. i have a long leash so I stand at the top step and so don't walk on the ice. Luckily the snow is frozen so he can walk on top of it to get his business done.

We have an over hang at the end of the house, right by the carport, where Monster goes when it's raining or the snow is too high.
Or it's dark. He's afraid to be outside in the dark.
Goofy dog.

Overhang here too. But not good enough for a dog. Did that this morning so he could pee without slipping but he decided to try the driveway and slipped and slided so was apprehensive about peeing under the overhang. He didn't understand the difference.

Icy here, too. The roads are a mess of frozen "mountains" which cause all the traffic to slip and slide. Supposed to be clear today so maybe some of this will clear up. Now forecasting record lows for the next three days and warning that we should watch for frozen water pipes. If it isn't one thing, it is another. Guess I will leave one faucet slowly dripping and see if that saves us.... Only January. Lordy, lordy.
