It's a bit cooler, for us, today. This yo-yo weather has everyone sniffling and coughing.

My house cleaner came today at noon. She could make it only halfway into my driveway due to the ice! At noon! The temps were supposed to warm. My walkway was all ice too so she trudged through the snow to get to the front door but couldn't carry her equipment in. She emptied the trash and then went into the garage to search for road salt. Found it and spread it on my driveway so she could get her car out. She then texted me, told me this and said she will try again next week, didn't even take the check I left her.
I got home to an almost de-iced driveway thanks to her. Definitely leaving her some extra $ for her efforts.

Well she isn't good at deep cleans, but good a surface cleaning and is certainly a thoughtful person. I am keeping her. I have someone else to do deep cleaning a few times a year. :)

Yep, still icy and cold with a strong north wind. Water pipes outside for the hose froze last night but got them back in working condition fairly easily. Supposed to have 3 more days of this with no rise in temperatures.... Already tired of it.
