Yep, snowing here as well. A very fine snow. We're not expected to get more than an inch or two though. Have to work this afternoon. It's funny, the other week when we got 5+ inches, the plow for the parking lot here at home was nowhere to be found until the event was long over. Today, a quarter inch on the lot and they've been through once already and it's still snowing. *scratches head*
Howdy Geeks! This has been THE busiest 4 weeks of my life. It usually takes me 3-4 months to get out an album. I was given 4 weeks to put out a 32 song double CD set. The artist is breathing down my neck all day, every day, and some nights. He has a televised Super bowl program and he HAS to be able to mention it on Sunday. So 15 hour days, weekends, nightmares. But dammit, YOU TOO will be able to pre-order this album from iTunes and Amazon come Friday.
It's called Bible of Love
And the artist is Snoop Dogg. No I am NOT kidding...

You have no idea. When he's not in business mode, he is THE nicest and funniest guy I've ever met. But damn, when he puts his business hat on...watch out. That's probably why he's so successful...

The guy that brought my resume to my current employer was on a Director's call today. I had given inputs to "Good things that happened this month" Not really related to my job but to the Professional Society I have been a part of for 20 years. I have served on the National Bod for many years and ran my local Chapter. I am now the Chair for membership retention and have come up with a new plan to include out reach awareness to those in college still. Anyway, he messaged me today and wants me to take over his duties on a PT basis (he is battling cancer). I once supervised him and he gave shouts outs to me when the "good news" slide was presented in front of upper management.
Guess I will stay put for now as my career in this company is now getting a fast track. I am ready for it now, not in the past 2 years.
