Lots of Eagles fans around here since i am in PA. However, this more Steelers country but I guess people are glad it's a PA team. I really don't care either way. If there is womens' basketball on, i would rather watch that.

!!! Fly, EAGLES, Fly !!! 

Good morning, everyone! It was snowing a tad when I awoke this morning but it seems to have stopped. The plan for the day is to run out to the fresh air market, grab some of my favorite donuts and some smoked chops and then probably head home. I need to get some shelving hung before the game starts tonight. Since I don't have cable, I'm hoping to find a site that will be streaming it live so I can watch on my laptop. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon! First time in years we won't be watching the super bowl. My husband and his friends are boycotting it. I'm only going to miss the commercials, but I'm not a huge fan.

I only like a team if I like the quarterback. I liked Roger staughback, (sp) so I liked the Cowboys while he played for them, I liked Joe Montana so I liked the Chiefs when he played for them. The last one I really liked was Kurt Warner so I liked the rams but switched to the AZ cardinals when he played for them. I do hope you all enjoy the game tonight :)

Spent the day with mother, DD, and the babies. It breaks my heart when they cry to come home with me and they can't. But we had such a good time. My heart is full...

OK. If he had just omitted the first
third of his show, it could have been
good. The back-up "dancers" for the
first part had no "dance" moves, just
gyrations.

It got better when the band in the
black suits played. The last third
was meh.

Not worth whatever he was paid.

I agree! I wasn't impressed with the halftime show other than when he went up into the audience. I think it's pretty classy when entertainers involve the audience like that. The kid he took the selfie with didn't quite seem to know what to do with it all. hahaha Cute.

Yeah, we broke down too. Trying to find out if THIS IS US was on, and there were 2 minutes left. Had to watch!
Now Gs out Ubering. He made over $300 right before the game, he will probably double that tonight. $1000 For 4 hours ain't so bad!

I watched part of Justin's performance. It was OK. I mean, after awhile when you have seen the 4th of July and pulling out all the gadgets and wizardry, it really is just ho hum. I think the difference between Justin and Gaga is that Gaga performed her music with heart and passion. Justin barely was even singing and when he was there was no emotion or passion in his voice, just trying to get the choreography, and moves right.

As for singing the National Anthem, ever rendition of it doesn't have to be some new improved performance of it. I was glad that Pink sang it very skillfully and competently but didnt' try to change what it really is. I mean Whitney Houston stole the moment for that song and I doubt anyone will ever top that and they shouldn't even be trying to.
I hear the National Anthem several times a week at sporting events. And, it gets a bit cumbersome when someone wants to sing it with a lot of add on inflection, etc that really don't add to the song. Pick up the tempo and just sing it!

I was just grateful Janet Jackson didn't make an appearance with JT.

But seriously, it was just "meh" for me. Not trying to fat shame, but did it look like he put on a few pounds, or just what he was wearing? If so, it didn't interfere with his ability to move around.

I think it was what he was wearing. Could be a few extra pounds. When I saw him on stage at one point with that camo suit, at first I thought, "why is he dressed like a homeless person in ratty clothing" but then realized, on a closeup shot, it was camo, or something similar. lol
