 I didn't know where to post this.  So, thought i would make a thread for random political thoughts.    But apparently Trump wants to put on a big military parade.   There seems to be a lot of online gnashing about that.  I think it's a great idea.  What's wrong with celebrating our military??

Suspect some people think this is too much like Robot Man with his constant military parades and reviews.

Myself, I see nothing wrong with a military parade and a show of strength.

Sports fans seem to have no complaints when there is a fly over and in fact are disappointed when it doesn't happen. I remember as a kid seeing the convoys of military trucks and such on the highways, such a thrill. I think having a parade to celebrate the military and all our power is a great idea.

Doesn't matter what Trump does, there will always be outcry.

 That is a really good point.  Let's start celebrating strength and accomplishments.  Maybe it will compel others to aspire to be the best they can be rather than hide in safe spaces.

Mueller has indicted 12 Russians for interfering with our election. Seriously????? He had to come up with something and this is what he decides to do? Not that anyone will be tried. This is just a paper pushing exercise. Come on ! Stop wasting our tax dollars and stop this baseless investigation.

Liberalism is the root of all evil. Total lack of morals. Just look at Clinton, she should be in jail. Martha Stewart did time in prison for far less.

Our judicial system is also a failure.

When I met Mueller years ago at a US Attorney swearing in, my spidey senses were alerted. I wouldn't trust him to hold my purse.

I like military parades and show of strength. I tear up when the military bands play patriotic songs. Always.
